What an amazing coin! I read that in the U.S. in the 1700's the most prevalent form of money were the Spanish Reale coins. They were the primary coin in circulation during colonial times. That coin would look great set into a little gold or silver coin holder & made into a lovely & interesting pendant for Miss Daisy💕!😊 Great video!

The best find was the Nova Constellatio coin that appeared to be a button. Congrats!

Back in those days when you lost a brass buckle or something else made of metal it was a small disaster...Where you gonna get another one? Nowadays we have Walmart...Back then, everything you need is already in use.... Requires constant maintenance and a watchful eye....I appreciate your positive expectations while you're digging a contact.,Too many detectors on KZread are expecting a pull tab or canslaw and it is not the attitude to have when you're searching for the goodies... Keep looking up and expect the best... That's why you're always my go to guy!!!

I have a question. After watching you since u were a young grasshopper. U been finding axes and hatchets. I wrote when u were young. Where ever u find one, cut a strong limb or scraggly pole size oak. And learn woodworking TO fit your found ax or hatchet by making hand handles for them. I wrote if u start young by the time u get in your 20's, u will be able to make beautiful handles for your axes and hatchets. I even mentioned handles for farm equipment like scvthes . DID YOU EVER DO IT? Like to see a video of those relics w re-purposed handles. I think alot of people would enjoy it. The joy of wood working, be it u find out in the sticks ( woodland) beautiful narly logs, old cut timbers, even root bases of a discarded tree.. u can learn to make beautiful furniture.. trial and error. But its well worth the time. Try not to center your whole free time on one hobby, this will prevent burn out, and will only increase your knowledge. Enjoy your videos as always.

These items speak to me more of the personal side of those who lived there and spark my imagination. Michael are you sure that star pattern button isnt a novo constellation coin?? I didnt get a close enough look but it looks like one at a distance. One of the earliest American coins. You first thought it was a coin. I hope it is. Great hunt!!

I found one just like it in a Confederate cavalry camp in North Mississippi

The buckle is definitely a nice 1700’s cross belt buckle! What state are you in? I’m heading to a spot tomorrow that looks almost exactly like that spot!✌🏻🇺🇸
