Happy to see your dad is getting better. It’s hard to keep a farmer still long enough to heal.

I had rotator cuff surgery last December... it is a very, very long recovery! I am a heavy equipment mechanic and was out of work for 6 months. I have been back at work for 3 months and there are days that I over do it and pay the price for doing so! Take it slow and give yourself time to heal. The worst for me was trying to sleep the first couple of months. That boy of yours is a rockstar and he will take care of things!!! I really do enjoy your channel. God bless!

Good to see your dad getting up and about, and he has the best sling I think. Had that same one after my surgery, still have it for them bad days with the shoulder.

You need to get a big loader like SaskDutchKid to pick up those tires ! Glad to see your Dad up and about ! My husband had that surgery. It appears that it’s pretty painful. Quick recovery for him !

Was watching a video from Brian’s Farming videos (“Chopping silage on a modern Dairy Farm” video) where he visited a 600 head dairy farm in Wooster, OH and they had their bunk silo tires stacked on poles embedded into the top of the walls of their bunks spaced so that as the tires are removed from the silage tarps they are stacked and collated on the vertical poles and ready to be dropped onto the tarp when the silo is filled again. Seems like that would be something to consider to prevent doing double work and double handling of the tires. They are also kept from being in the way on the ground as well. Would be a little work to drill out the holes and lock the poles with concrete, but if it’s done once it won’t have to be done again.

As a very young fellow (8/9 yrs. old), I once got horribly lost in a large Corn field. For those that has never wandered through a corn field it is very easy to get lost.

Congrats on getting the Kubota, Eric! That door just makes so much sense on those machines and I don't get why more brands don't do it. Kudos to Kubota. And dad is looking good. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!!!

I had the same set up for my rotator cuff surgery at 58. The best thing I ever did was getting it fixed. Do the exercise they call washing the wall to stretch it out every morning and night. I can shoot 3 pointers with my Grandkids now. Well worth the hassle.

You need some skids with poles on them to ‘ring’ them on as you take them off :) Glad you dad is better. Resting is hard work for a dairyman!
