We had to clean out Mom's flat last year, as she had to move to a "handicap-proofed" home. Chris and this channel helped me so much to assess what to do with what. We made around 3.000 EUR by selling thru facebook and other online channels and by having a big flea market at the flat. Everyone was quite surprised - I just told them: Well, I am a proud pupil of the Ultimate Recycler School. Oh, and nearly nothing ended up in the trash. Thank you!

Yes, the lady was quite relieved when we explained our process! We haven't caught up with her yet to give her some cash, but I'm sure she will be happy! 😊😊

I would said door knob, but I seen the other video. You could ran a poll and the viewers could guessed. Lol. I personally think $500 is very fair price. You both out a lot time into it. Especially when she thought she's going to pay. But it is good business practice to give a few dollarydoos, word gets around the U are fair, cheers Graham.

Great work for all the reasons you pointed out. Profit is not a bad thing. Things to note. You have the potential to make a bit of money. From the amount actually sold, you are still behind. Businesses are a risk. You also haven't factored in the price of the shop. I assume rent isn't free.

I hope there isn't any criticism for your "only" paying the woman $500 for the stuff she was going to throw away. Where I am, *I* would have to pay out big money ($700-$1000 USD) to have a garage full of old things hauled away by someone else! You're doing people a big favor in many ways, imo.

The albums went into the shop. They weren't in the best condition unfortunately. I think we've got $30 or $40 on the Beatles one.

@@TheUltimateRecycler me and my son though we were good. One of my son school teachers invited him to her table tennis centre. I was getting beaten by 70s year old. We went a couple of times, my son improved and they said he had potential. Cheers Graham.
