    I know it's been posted ages ago but I've just bought this lens very dusty inside and thanks to you felt confident I could clean it. I even built my own name plate unscrewing tool 🤣, a bit different than yours but still did the job Thank you very much

    Tom did yours have tiny screws on the sides? if so did you take those out? I can't seem to unscrew mine.

    That would be helpful my diaphram is stuck in my lens with some kind of oil.

    Hi. With some lenses, the easiest way of fixing the sticky aperture is to apply some 99% isopropanol to the blades (using a cotton bud or similar) and then manually use the lever to open and close. Repeat a few times and the isopropanol SHOULD remove any grease, oil, etc... and evaporate cleanly away. It's worked for me with a couple of Pentacon lenses - so maybe will work with Chinon here?
