Cleaning an old ditch. From the fields comes water drainage to the ditch. The ditch is overgrown and the water level has risen. So drainage no longer works as well as it should. There were many trees and shrubs on the sides of the ditch. They were cut down so that the ditch could be cleaned. The leaves and branches of the trees have fallen in the ditch, so the water no longer flows away and accumulates in the ditch. All I have to do is clean the ditch gutter to drain the water. I do not pull out all the roots, only those that disturbed. Enjoy watching ☕🥪🖐

Whoever cleared off the ditch did a good job. Looks like it was carried off by hand. No equipment tracks seen.

I grew up on the southern coastal plains of Texas. Where the land is flat and the sky is big. Much like where you are in this video. So different but so much the same. Sometimes the world feels very small. Thanks for another great video.

There's a little bit of Drain Addict in all of us. Now if you had put just Ratty out there to watch while cleaning the pipe. Nice video. Too bad you couldn't pull out all the stumps. That will all be grown back in a couple of years. 👍👌

Mates property in country OZ🙃 1 small water spring trickling from the side of a small hill slope over the 1,000's years its dug a 60ft deep creek he tried to dam it but it failed following year water overflow cut in sides & collasped it he needed a Level drain pipe which we didnt know about at the time experience helps he should've asked for advice

16:30 you need to call a pipe jetter for that one. Ollie over on the Drain Addict channel can show you just what to do; I think he may be out of your area a bit though.

Realized you weren't using the Volvo until like half-way through the video, lol. Whoever owns the property will probably hire some to bring out a root cutter to clean the tree rootd out the drain pipe. Plumbers have to use them all the time since tree roots love finding cracks in sewer pipes for nutrients and clogging them up.

Volvo is resting. You can work with all kinds of excavators, but a new excavator is new🖐

It will probably cut down the bushes sooner rather than allow large ones to grow

There was no time to pull out all the strains and then repair the whole ditch. Other works were waiting in line😉

ciezko jest sie nauczyc pracy na takim sprzecie?, Chcial bym zainwestowac w kurs operatora ale najpierw popracowac troche w ekipie przy koparce zeby zobaczyc jak to wyglada w roznych warunkach i przy roznych zleceniach ale kazdy operator z ktorym gadam na ten temat robi z tej pracy totalny patos, prawie kazdy nie widzi lepszego od siebie i generalnie mowi ze "Lo panie, taka robota to nie takie hop siup, to trzeba to, tamto itd" :) Pozdro.
