Cleaned a yard and fixed a fence
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
G'day friends,
For this one, we checked in on a client at a familiar property. Despite her best efforts, my client was not able to maintain her yard again. If you recall our last visit to this property (link below), there was also a precarious fence, which has since become worse. This time round, I thought we should take a look at that too.
Thanks again for watching, as the client was not charged for this job! It was funded by KZread advertising revenue, Patreon and the Buy Me a Coffee app!

Maybe it has some cultural meaning in Australia, but what might be the meaning/purpose, if any, of the faded red rag / cloth hanging on the mailbox. It a gang sign that the lady belongs to? :)

It means that it's a drop-bear friendly property, and the trees may be home to some. This basically means enter at your own risk, as they can attack with lethality, and without warning

I started laughing that she scolded you for cutting the flowers. I remember this place and it really is a sweet little house. You have a wonderful sense of humor. I think you have a great outlook on life. Bless you for helping out. Putting up that new fence really helped spruce the place up. Kind of like a face lift. Have a wonderful day!!!

I love that Claire scolded you for trimming off the flowers. 💐🤣👍 Go Claire!!!! You did a great job again Sean, even if you're a flower killer. 😉 So happy to see that fence fixed. Very cool!!! Loved the Tip Gents. Seem like good humored guys.
I love when you cut down the bushes and shrubs blocking windows. It's nice to see sunshine come in a window and a nice view where all you saw before was the branches outside. Really nice of you to fix the woman's fence 🙂

Sunlight, fresh air and a fresh new fence to wonder at. Im glad Sean has the willingness to tackle new things to help someone out. He's a good man.
You are the greatest! So kind to double back and check on this lady and help her out again! I’m always happy to see Clayre out and about with you! Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your videos and your kindness!
As my dear old Mum would have said, “your a good lad”. The world could do with more like you. You are a blessing to those you help.
You are changing someone’s world every time you do this, your kindness is inspiring. Thank you Sir!
YAY, it's Blade Mate Day!!!
Thank you Sean and Claire for your kind hearts. May God richly bless you, your family, and your business!
For someone who's never built a fence before, you did a fine job Sean. Yard is looking good, can't wait for part 2!!!
I'm glad you upgraded your liability insurance to do these things, helps folks out. I remember this home and the work you did... it's terrific you were able to step in again, thank you. I absolutely adore the mixed flora this yard offers. It's really amazing to see the diversity. Just trimming shrubbery makes a enormous impact. You seriously need to think about a chipper for that green waste....mulch heaven. Your client Clare, should be over the moon at your free services... afew flowers in the grand scheme isn't gona brake the look one bit. Your walk behind is a real PUSH ME / PULL ME UNIT.... she chews her chud up, and spits it out very well for a senior mower indeed! Got to love Kikuyu grass. ❤️

That lady is lucky to have met you, checking up on her and taking care of not only the lawn but also the fence 👍👌 that forgotten mower is a beast, eating it’s way through the thick tall grass. Sorry about the broken spade. I always enjoy the last part where you “vacuum clean” the lawn, it makes it look so tidy.
What a job that property was. You did awesome work cleaning it up! The fact that you even built a portion of new fencing in addition to the yard work is a testament to how much you care for this homeowner and her inability to get around easily. I look forward to your next episode.

That was very kind of you to repair and replace the fencing. It looks so much better. I'm sure she appreciates everything you have done for her. Your such a great guy!! I enjoy all your videos. 🏡
Sean, even with your wife helping, you did some strenuously hard work by yourself. Thumbs up to your wife with not wanting the flowers cut down. Guess she knows the importance of bees, I'm sure you do too and sometimes some flowers must go. Most people don't realize, no bees means no food. Love that rare beast of a mower you found and had repaired. Awesome video as usual.
Could see that even though the yard fell behind, the basics you had done still showed. It won't be as hard to renew. Thank you very much for tackling the fence. Hello to Claire. Nice you are able to go forward with further improvements, as the shrub trimming.
Sean, that "Pig of a thing" does a pretty good cut of the lawn 🤣 So kind of you to fix the Fence, and you did a great job of it 😇 Awesome Job Sean, the place looks pristine again 💖
Your first fence and it looks great. Wonderful job Sean. Thank you for your kindness. The world needs more of it.
SEAN, so many times these guys mow and weed eat around falling or downed fences but your the first I've seen actually fix them. What a blessing you have given the homeowner with the lawn all tidy and the fence looking good again. Like a feel good movie.😊

Thank you, Clare and Sean, for caring enough to go check on this client and then go above and beyond to neaten up the yard and begin to repair/replace the sagging fence. What a wonderful way to walk the talk. Clare was wise to wear bright pink socks to avoid snacking, biting, stinging insect beasties. Tip guy had a real sense of humor with the channel 7 observation. 😊👍💯💥👌💫 Beautiful transformation. Love all the blooming flora, too.
Gosh Sean, you went above & beyond with the fence repair…that was a wonderful gift of the heart! Cannot wait for Part 2 👍👍👍

Fantastic job on the fence. I know that the owner is loving it! Outstanding job all around 👏 👌 👍!!!
It is nice to watch a true professional. U make everything look easy!
My in laws had a very old Ford tractor with all the attachments. Plow, post hole digger, rake, disc, bush hog, and he created a snow plow for the front. He loved that old Ford and was the only one in the family that could get it running. With 15 of 18 acres mowed it was a true gem. We sometimes had to wait months for parts for it. The house, pond and lake took up the rest of the property. He even created a weed eater for it since the lake bank was very steep. My husband lost his battle with cancer over ten years ago his mother passed in 2020 they decides to auction all of the Ford and it’s attachments as a group. Both our daughter and his older daughter was surprised that it brought in 25K. We later found out the guy that bought it was the one who purchased the property. I gave him my phone number and told him I knew all of the tricks my husband used to get it and keep it running. He did call me once last year. Ended up needing a fuel filter that was hard to see and ruff to get too. Does my heart good to see him keeping up with it and using it.
Awesome job,I love the fact that you clean up all grass clippings too 🙂
I believe you are a perfectionist at heart with the care you take edging! May I suggest a spray bottle of vinegar for all the cracks? It would certainly cut down on future trimming of sidewalks! I love watching you do these lawns...so different from here in the USA, and you do such a wonderful job! ❤ And how sweet to take the time and materials to fix the fence! Good job indeed!!
I love it when you whack bushes back and unveil a window! the lady needs light in her house!!!
Mate You went above and beyond the Call of Duty on that Job !!!
I love that it's a re-visit of a property you have previously done. It shows your big heart and it's so interesting to see how the plants grow back from looking like bare twigs after being trimmed. :) Look forward to all your future content!!

I really like the new old mower. It looks like a beast! Do you think it will take over Queen Victoria's place Sean? Hey Claire. I know that Sean is happy you're with him. Keep Sean in line girl. I agree with you about leaving the flowers alone on the shrub.lol
Speaking for only this elderly person I'd rather loose a few flowers than pass up a free clean up. Thanks for the video! Watch out for those drop bears! 🤣😂
You did great on the fence Sean. The more you do the better you will become; however, the fact that you upgrade your insurance (at no small cost I am sure) speaks so much of you as a person. What a difference it makes just by cutting the gress and doing the edges. Again another great job. Thank you.

Red mower is a powerhouse of a cut but you need power steering…and I don’t mean you! What a workout!😊
For never having put a fence up before, I think it looks very good. The only thing I would have done differently (including my thoughts on my neighbor's fence) is leave an inch or two open under the fencing to prevent it from getting wet and eventually rotting (even green-treated fencing will rot if left against the ground). I'm trying to get the dirt away from the fence when I'm working in my flower bed but after all the time it's been there, it's hard to do.
What a great job Sean. You are making Australia "More" beautiful, one yard at a time.
I remember these mowers having metal bags also.
BRAVO MATE! Great job my friend! The fence is going to look great. Thank you so much on behalf of the Senior lady who lives there. The flowers are beautiful. I’m one of your biggest fans. 🙏🏾👍🏾🫶🏾
You did a beautiful job,..so nice of you to fix the lady's fence,..kudo's to you
Fence looks good. Could see that military training where even after your shovel broke, you just figured out a way to keep digging. When trying to control the size of big bushes, like the one you, uh, deflowered, it can help to cut the larger branches down to the ground. Never more than a third of them. Pruning the outside to make them square not only deprives us of the blossoms, but encourages growth in the end of the branches, leaving the the bottom of the branches brown
I recognized that fence and yard immediately. It's a shame that organization didn't find someone to help her fix the fence. One thing for sure the front was more overgrown. Sean to the rescue as always. It's a good thing you and Claire are doing. Maybe soon she will feel comfortable enough to be in the videos and just not her voice.
I stumbled upon your channel yesterday, subscribed after watching your previous video about this place, you are absolutely fantastic person, not just because of selflessly helping those in need, but inspiring others to do something good in their communities.

I wish a lawn mower and a pressure washer would collab for a complete transformation of the yard ..it would be amazing 😊
Little trick with wooden palings. To stop rot on the bottom of the palings from ground contact, place one paling under the bottom to give you a ground clearance of 10mm. As you know, palings are usually 100mm wide and 10mm thick. Eliminates ground contact.
Your skill level is only surpassed by your innate willingness! You marvel me! Definitely, “You’re simply the Best”!
