Never cleam my barrells and never had a problem. The pellets will do the job

I’m a mechanical engineer. Mixing graphite and oil is a no no. Just use graphite on your wool brush. I’ve never tried, but as lubrication, that method would give an even coat. Mixing just makes a paste.

I am too, thanks...this was just for experimenting purposes and gave me the best results vs using silicone or graphite by itself...I wanted to fill the rifling grooves on purpose to cause less pellet deformation (skirt and rifling) ...stay tuned for pt3

I bought a benjiman prowler a lil over a month ago..and couldnt get a group to brag about then happened to see one of Kennys videos talking about cleaning when you first buy it then leave it alone..lots of black grease ran about 20 patches thru it ..ive shot over 700 rounds thru it and ran a mop through it once i hit 500 rounds and now im having great groups at 25 -30 yards..Thanks for all your hard work for us airgunners..you tha Man👍

@@dinkeredwards5187 haha yeah I made an airgun channel because the main channel started to become all airgun instead of other things I also do

My results are the same . 1/2" groups at 50 yds with a Diana 350 Mag. I don't own a crony but the strike of the pellet did rise about 1 1/2" AFTER the dry lube was introduced.

Thanks man, yea I was trying to find a happy medium ...just thought it made sense to me have the barrel lubed instead of the pellet ...but definitely could vary due to different pellets and rifling

I would've never thought to try graphite powder. If I can get my hands on some I'll give it a try. I can see myself making a mess while doing to but oh well. It's for science and curiosity. That's the price you pay. Thanks James

Very interesting Jimbo! Cleaning the barrel also changed the point of impact. Or were you using a different point of aim? LOL, $4 and that's a pound. That should last you until your close to 200 years old!!!!!! Silicon and graphite.....can you say "slippery"!!! Bottom line is consistency counts. When you start messing with things consistency goes out the window.

Thanks! Yea I changed elevation/windage on the scope except when I lubed the barrel, yep consistency is key

Hey dude, where did you find that graphite powder for four dollars a pound? All I can find is much larger quantities. Or much smaller quantities for about the same price. Is that in your Amazon dealybob?

@@Leonardokite I actually got it at my local Rural King.. I'm sure you can find it at hardware stores like Ace or Lowe's

Thanks man! I have actually done alot of the videos with those pellets on STKO channel

You have to shoot like 30 pellets through the barbell after you clean it to get the accuracy back

They got wad shooter too. I use my girl friends TAMPONS cut em up into wads😆 boy she gets mad at me😛 but the barrel swab is the best way ~ Like he showing you ==> But there hard to fine in the .177
