    Mr Controversy nice job with both videos ive been doing my own similar tests with or with out lube, cleaning the barrel or not, weighing and sorting pellets, even sizing them. I havent yet finished my results it takes time weighing and sizing pellets, actually its boring as hell. Ive been trying various lubes, and some crazy things like Pledge. Anyways I just finished watching Southern Gunners video and i couldnt help but think of you. Both of you do a incredible job at keeping the sport and hobby of airgunning pure. you dont segregate those with a budget gun from the high end, and thats awesome. You influence those wanting to get into airgunning by explaining you dont need a $2000 dollar gun. Some of the channels out there discourage new comers making them believe you need a expensive gun, high end scope, over priced Atlas bi pods..........some people cant afford all of that. There is numerous guns that are inexpensive and can be factored into just about any ones budget. When i was much younger i had a paper route and it bought me my first airgun, a Crosman PowerMaster 760 , if i would have heard i needed a expensive gun and mine wouldnt cut it, i would have been devastated , i worked my but off saving money to buy that gun. Your channel gets younger kids excited about buying a gun the could afford. Good job

    Appreciate the kind words, yeah I just try to keep it real, I dont understand why people have to lie or put out false claims/info it doesn't make sense.... especially to ultimately say this gun is better to have because of the price tag...like SG said car is a car, from point a to point b, no matter the accessories, looks, speed, as long as it gets you there what's it really matter

    I found the fresh clean and lube to take a few shots to come around to be accurate again too. There was also a rise in the strike area of two inches .

    Sounds about right! I'm thinking the rise is from less pellet deformation in the barrel... those Crosman pointed pellets shot like laser beams at 45yd and got to 100yd pretty quick and accurate

    My concern about using graphite is if the barrel gets warm from shooting a lot that the graphite might get hard and solidify bonding to the barrel. Think it may coat the barrel like on a cooking pan that will foul the barrel for good. I've seen this on industrial grip lube. Just a thought.

    It may or not I haven't tested it that far but it may act as opposite like alot of shooter use the bore paste to coat the raw steel rifling

    Try blaster dry lube for pellet lube. I sized my cphp and used the dry lube in my maximus. Silly tight groups .25 at 35yards for me is outstanding.

    Try a pellet sizer you will be able to feel the difference in pellets. The crossman pellets are very inconsistent. But once sized they shoot better than a JSB or H&N out of my gun.

    Only thing is... you cant spray oil into the breach of a break barrel because it will cause severe dieseling

  • @ALLABOUTAIRGUNS

    @ALLABOUTAIRGUNS

    Ya I haven't done a break barrel yet, Crosman recommends few drops of piston chamber lube every 250 shots so that in return probably lubes the barrel for you

    I use just a little bit of wd40 sometimes... but I REALLY wipe the barrel down good with a bore mop so it wont diesel
