They're all lying, I can verify today that im watching migrants on mopeds running all the deliveries in center City Philadelphia and since i choose English as my language i get no deliveries and make no money. All in the last year these guys have sprung up like an army on mopeds and Americans cant get orders its a sin. I complain over and over and they say its low demand 😮 Get Em senator 👍🏻

Be glad you don't. I did DD for a year and some of the peeps delivering are gross. Their cars are dirty and I have seen cockroaches in some of the cars. Just gross. I had over 1800 deliveries with a rating of 4.98

In fact, the Spanish ability helped get me my first job at a juvenile dependency law firm in downtown Los Angeles). I admire the Africans and Middle Easterners more, however, since they make an effort to learn English. I remember a Somalian driver who learned English in six months, then in his work, he learned Spanish.

They all know this is happening.

The person delivering my food,, is never the person the app shows as the delivery person.

That's true. I'm a delivery driver for these platforms. Every time I call support, I get either an Indian or Middle East guy/gal on the phone. One time I asked a guy with thick Indian accent if he was in the US, he said he was in Japan and he was Japanese. I don't know if he was in Japan or not, but his accent was a dead giveaway that he was not Japanese. These are the people these platforms hire to assist drivers and customers.

Uber Eats driver here. If your food comes from someone who doesn't match the picture you should report them. To be more specific it has nothing to do with race or migrant or anything like that. Just the simple fact that this person has not been vetted so there's no way of knowing what they may or may not do.

I am almost to the point of stopping my use of Uber because of the stinky non english speaking non driving "drivers" The last few I have been in broke at least one traffic law, and two of them actually had me nervous about my safety, and I don't get nervous.

I live in a gated community where you must show identification to enter and no exaggeration at least half the time I order DoorDash the delivery person doesn’t have state (Florida)or federal (United States) identification and aren’t allowed to enter, it was happening so frequently I canceled my DoorDash account, also many times the delivery driver would obviously not be the person listed as the the delivery person is says is delivering my order

Amazon flex, Walmart Spark too. These people work in groups, each using multiple accounts made with stolen identities. Amazon and Walmart could stop this by having an employee verify the identity of the person picking up. They know it's an issue. This has been going on for years. Ultimately it's the companies that need to be held responsible for ignoring the issue.

I live in the Midwest. In the last week, I’ve seen two different men delivering prepared food to the apartment complex I live in. Neither one of them could speak English. They had to show me their app so I could see who the food belonged to…..

Ask any recipient of these deliveries who delivers their door dash???? Obviously facts and truth matter!!!! Uber eats and door dash just care about the $$$$$$$$.

I placed an order with instacart at 2:30. A man picked up the other. One hour passed then two, then came 5:00. I messaged the person and no response. I didn't call instacart earlier because it said he was working on other orders and would do mines but that long of a wait didn't make sense. When I called Instacart I was placed on hold so the rep can contact the the shopper only for him to come back and let me know the shopper doesn't speak English. He took my order that long but couldn't understand how to shop!!!! This is ridiculous!! Another shopper took my order and did it perfectly!!

I quit food delivery back in 2020 when i noticed my food was being tampered with by certain delivery drivers! Also all restaurants shoulf have tamper proof containers!

There's no way an illegal alien who arrived 2 weeks ago has a work permit. You have the driver's photo, make of car and license plate number. If these don't match the car and driver that arrives then don't get in and report it. Come on man this is common sense. To answer your question if the driver isn't legit you're not covered should an accident occur.

The statements don't match their actions. They know it's going on and dont care as long as they are making money.

Gig companies get drivers to deliver drugs all the time, under the guise of “courier” deliveries. They do not care at all what they are trafficking, and the poor drivers are held legally responsible for whatever they are transporting. It’s awful.

That's why I dropped gig driving, and will never use any of them as a customer either.

We stopped using all those delivery apps many months ago and go pick up takeout. I do not trust them with my food, no way.

Happens all the time. I’m a widow senior 70 years need this income. Can’t make it on ssi. After 1500 deliveries my car died had to wait till my next ssi check to get another war mobile. Had to start from the bottom. Like I never worked there

I LIVE IN DENVER, I FOUND OUT THAT THE DRIVERS NAME DIDNT MATCH WITH THE PERSON WHO DELIVERED MY ORDER. And I know these people RENT THIS ACCOUNTS FROM OTHER PEOPLE TO WORK ILEGALLY!! THEY EVEN DO WRONG DELIVERIES BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW THE city. This is so messed up!!!

I was just in florida last month with my family for spring break. Went out one night with the missses and both our lyft drivers couldnt speak english.

I've been working for 45 years. The past 2 have been for a County. So I'm REALLY seeing a lack of common sense in P&Ps beyond anything in private or corporate companies. Yeah, it's mind-boggling. But, I'm just 'flying low to avoid the radar' at this one though. The pay and benefits are very good and I'm so close to retiring.

When the name of the driver is different then the person delivering your food should be reported. When the vehicle that arrives to pick you up is different than the one on the app it should be reported. This happens every other rime I order a ride or food comes to be delivered.

As someone who has a Doordash pass and orders a few times a week I can confirm that most delivery drivers do not speak English (very little). These are facts people just stating. My drop off point is outside of my apartment for safety reasons. I have no control over who picks up my order. I am in the SF bay area and most Doordash drivers speak Spanish. Sometimes I see the driver's name as Mary and then a guy delivers my order. I don't have time to report that in since I am rushing back to work. People are hustling out here making money it's expensive to pay bills. For the most part service is good but it can be frustrating when I get a call from a lost driver saying I don't speak English.

No it’s free I get Walmart plus free 30 day subscription then after 30 days make a new account. No fees you just pay for the groceries. I ordered 2 bottles of water and a bag of lemons for $6 and some cents. It’ll be here at 8am and I do not TIP because I dont give AFUK

There are a number of food delivery drivers who don't speak English in the areas where I live. I see them in the food establishments, when you talk to them, they can't answer because they don't understand what you're saying.

It's so annoying when your driver doesn't even speak English and leaves drinks or sides at the store cause they can't even fkn read. I've had it happen so often I stopped using delivery.
