Hi Kathy! Watching from UK. Was searching for video/s on how to prevent plat warping as my stoneware plates and flat forms always warp after firing. But by accident, saw this video of yours which also guided me on how to handle the slab after decorating! Thank you! If you received this message, can you advise how I can ensure my flat forms come out of the kiln evenly flat bottom, please? Many thanks! Karyn

Hi Karyn, drying your flat forms evenly (either by turning regularly when drying or by drying on a mesh rack to allow airflow) will help them fire evenly. If you're rolling out slabs, roll on both top and bottom (by flipping the slab and rolling again) to help them have the same degree of compression on both sides. ~Cara
