Clavicle Fracture Healing

Dr. Marx: After a clavicle fracture that we allow it to heal up on its own. If it's not something that requires a surgery, frequently folks will develop a little it looks like a little ball in the middle of their clavicle. And what that is, is exactly that it's a ball of bone that essentially spot welds the two ends of the clavicle back together to hold them in place so that it can function as one unit the way it was meant to be.
