and that's not great news for coheed. all their new stuff sounds nothing like their old. its really sad because coheed used to be my favorite band, their new cds are unrecognizable

@@emperorphil2547 I'd try listening to their releases chronologically, including his works as Prize Fighter Inferno. You'll see where Claudio starts to incorporate electronic elements from there into his newer music.

​@@emperorphil2547 I have been listening since Silent Earth 3. I wholeheartedly disagree. I think as the access to tools has improved, Claudio has been better able to tell the story he's been trying to. And there are elements that function as storytelling elements (sirens in True Ugly, reprises of themes in a different key, the sound of a heart monitor at the end of Gravity's Union (I believe)). This is a sci fi story told through music, and it all fits the themes being told

Oh, how excited I'd have been if this teaser vid were shown back when Coheed released good albums (the older stuff). This sounds like an anime song, and the normal tempo "Disappearing Act" sounds like a Lady Gaga pop song. Claudio has given a big middle finger to the old fans. Yes yes I know, sounds change - but the problem is, these new sounds are crap. How can anyone hear stuff like 'Nighttime Walkers' from Vaxis I and pretend like that's a good song? Also didn't Claudio say in an interview that he'll have 5 Vaxis albums originally? I guess the first 2 did not sell well - I wonder why. Well, at least it looks like he's having fun in chic and roomy Paris, spending money he undoubtedly earned when he wrote better music and was less paranoid. What a beautiful city it is indeed - certainly beats his usual spot of NYC, full of so much crime, dirt, and illiterate/degenerate people that it's been making world news lately about how bad it is.

Very nice. It’s I AHA!! They sent assassins after me but I ended them and I even got shot in the process but being as I’m AHA I showed them how that was a bad idea.
