Claudette Makes Oaxacan Chicken and Salsa Macha | From the Home Kitchen | Bon Appétit

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Join Claudette Zepeda in San Diego as she makes salsa macha and Oaxacan chicken. Salsa macha is one of the oldest sauces in Mexico, dating back to the Aztec Empire. It is now prepared in over two hundred different ways. Claudette's variety includes chile pasilla, chile de árbol, peanuts, toasted sesame seeds and more. The Oaxacan chicken is spatchcocked and the seared in salsa macha, before being roasted in the oven.

This reason this woman is likeable as she's just cooking good food and sharing her experiences. If she became a regular her personality would shine through and we'd get to know her, as we did with the rest of the cast and grew to love them. It's the complete opposite of what they tried to do with the other new hires who I think we can all safely say, almost nobody is enjoying watching.

16:30 - traditions aren't static, they are constantly moving forward... True words to live by. Love this lady. Gave me a case of the feels while prepping for our non-traditional Thanksgiving of Korean fried chicken. Tradition is what you make it. Do something that gives you joy. Hoping everyone out there is staying safe and doing what you need to do to need to maintain your happiness during the dumpster fire of 2020. You know, as long as it doesn't involve domestic abuse or Nickleback or anything else horrific...
