I am in conflicted 7th heaven as I sit in my home watching my idea of bliss unroll before my eyes. I have spent my life dreaming about a place where I can not hear any man-made noises and fields with beautiful horses running through the pastures and getting to experience the joy of riding through the dappled woodlands. I rode a little, briefly when I was younger but am now disabled, housebound and blessed every day with loving family and God's wealth of beauty around me. I just wanted to thank you, so very much for allowing us to share, all be it vicariously, in your beautiful home. It allows me to feel the warm sun on my face and hear the creak of the leather and the birds and insects going about their business. You and your family's calm loving gentleness is a balm to all who have heart and eyes to see. God's radiance shines brightly on your home as you cherish his animals and share your gentle wisdom with others. Thank you for allowing us to keep you company. ❤

When I lived in upstate New York, my husband and I were caretakers for an estate. They had different gated horses different breed a person that was my neighbor. She had a Missouri Foxtrotter and I was so impressed with that horse because we would go on trail rides up and down a mountain type trail you do not see many Missouri Foxtrotter’s in New York.

i love the way you let classy lead , so many times people dont allow a new horse to become independent and self -reliant .

I love that you show the horse's face in shots. The reactions from the ears and emotions displaying all her thoughts to the different things you put Classy thru. She's an amazing horse!

Taking care of your property, raising your children, caring for & training animals, maintaining a multitude of equipment. You all work so hard. You’re rewarded with beautiful horses to ride through that amazing scenery! And let’s not forget the sound of squeaky saddles! Can you tell I am envious? Love this video! Classy is going to be an excellent trail horse. ❤❤

Classy is not only beautiful but has a super temperaent. She did really well. I am always aware that first few rides can give them a tender back because of extra friction. Lovely young mare..

I like the trail ride videos because a) I can hear you clearly while you share your experience - no matter how small the detail - and b) it's content that is good for my mind and heart. Even just watching the dogs run free alongside you. Yours should be called Lucky Homestead because that is what every living creature on it is.

I rode horses all my life but I’ve learned that riding helmets save lives as we have learned seat belts do. Your family needs you JR & you can get used to it. I remember as a kid bouncing around in the back of a car and the seat belts were just decorative and bike helmets didn’t exist. We’ve learned since then…. I know you know your horses but you know it’s possible for the unexpected to happen also….🙏

You are so right. A horse is a living creature that can spook, just like unexpected things can make us jump, regardless of how quiet they might be. You only get one head, so look after it!

i like that the horses can choose to grab a drink from delicious clear water creeks …. 🥰🐴👍

Classy as a favorite is right up there with Oliver and Natty. It's also great to watch the Palomino babies grow and play in the fields. Classy is truly a class act! ❤❤ When ever you have shown the horses in the field I always look for Classy. She will be missed but someone is getting a beautiful, smart, gentle, and well trained horse. I'm an old lady now but still wish it was me getting her! Love your channel, your family, and your horses. ❤❤

Before finding your channel, I had never heard of the Missouri Foxtrotter. I’m fascinated with the breed now.

I love the trail ride videos! Classy you did such a great job. JR I love your videos, because you talk to us and explain what you are doing with Classy, what you are feeling Ming when riding her and are just in tune with Classy. I know for me it makes me a better rider to know how and what to feel when riding. I am looking forward to more trial riding videos. One of my favorite video’s are the swimming videos with the horses!!

That’s great.. We can all learn so much from you. I am registered blind and had a fantastic pony called Oscar years ago. We knew what the other was thinking - he was very very special. He passed away in 2005 and I still miss him loads. I live in Staffordshire England and don’t ride any more as care for my a mum. Love your channel. Thanks so much for sharing ❤

Classy is such a beautiful horse. I was hoping you would keep her as her babies would be exceptionally beautiful. Your friend will be very lucky to have her and hopefully he will send you videos of her from time to time so you can post them. She is my 2nd fav from your herd with Nattie being my top fav. And I love the trail rides, very peaceful with great scenery and also the feeling of actually riding the horse. I can't wait until you can take Nattie on trail rides.

I love your channel, but JR should use a mounting block. With his size and weight, you can see at 1:48 how it pulls both of Classy’s left legs completely off the ground as he gets on. To both JR and Classy’s safety, please consider mounting from a block.

I've had horses, but I'm not a horse expert. I suspect him mounting her as he does helps her develop the ability to brace her muscles. We use our muscles the same way when we carry or lift something with one arm. Bracing ourselves keeps us upright. I'm guessing that continuing to mount her as he does will encourage her to brace herself when a rider mounts and will help her develop the muscles used for bracing. 🧐🤔

She did good. She is so pretty too.
