Luv the shelves and plastic drawers since they add a nice feel to the room which I like since I'm a secondary English/Social Studies/Music teacher w/ a couple of rooms to organize so I'm always looking for ideas to get a new feel for the year and your ideas are very useful so thank you!

For the long skinny board you can use thin black ribbon as a border so that the board isn't covered by the scalloped black paper border. It looks great so far!

I’ve watched a bunch of videos the last few days. Did you move schools? 4 of the people I watch moved schools and/or grade levels and two moved states. I’m having a senior moment. And all of the people are in elementary. I teach middle school. Elementary setups are always entertaining. I just remembered one of the podcasters moved schools too. This is the year of moving. New beginnings.

You could make the cubbies supply stations with supply caddies or baskets for small groups or technology time? Also just obsessed with your videos they give me so many great ideas for set up and for management which is something i need to get better at!!!

Pro tip for the small board in the back… put the black border up with the waves facing out so it provides more space on the actual board for you to put stuff, but still gives you a cute border look!!

We visited Florida a few weeks ago and it is so hot there! Idk how you guys do it there! I was only there 2 1/2 days and got heat exhaustion two times

You could use all those cubbies to have your station baskets for learners to grab. You could color code the baskets for each subject.

When I retired in 2005 we were still teaching cursive. There was a lot of discussion on how much time to spend on it because business was demanding better keyboarding skills from graduates. There is only so much time in the day.

Its such a weird misconception. I've taught cursive since I have been a teacher (2015). I will be teaching it again in 3rd this year. It was never not a standard (LAFS and BEST both have had it a standard so schools excluding it made no sense).
