Thank you so much for these ideas. I teach Kindergarten and these ideas will definitely help make a difference.
I appreciate how crossing out the mistake in the book teaches them forgiveness, and grace.
The book is genius, plus it creates a behavior log for students for conferences, parent contact, or discipline referrals.
This was really great a lot of relationship building.
These are great tips! I have really put into practice the 100% compliance concept you had talked about a couple of weeks back. Most of the time it works wonders! So thank you! We also have a "take a break" table the kids can visit at anytime of the day for +/- reasons. I also say alot "We can only do our fun stuff once we finish our work". That seems to keep the class on task.

Victorious Heart do you remember which video the 100% compliance concept was in? I can't seem to find it
I teach 8th grade, but I also have a book. It works wonders with them. I will use it for both positive and negative things. When students are misbehaving, though, they don't like to see me writing. They are pretty sure I'm writing about them.

Do you use the same book for both or do you use a separate one for positive or negative?
I just finished watching Wendy Warman all 3 sections, how do I print my certificate of completion? please help, I am so behind and have been In hospital.
I am stealing the idea of the book. I think it is also a great idea on keeping record of behavior pattern. Thanks!
How do you give private correction when a student is acting a fool in the middle of the carpet? The side of the carpet is easier to get to but the ones in the middle it’s harder for me to privately correct them. Would love some tips with that. I do publicly praise those that are doing well. Btw, I also show super why at snack time or magic school bus. There are lots of episodes of magic school bus on the discovery education website.

Maybe come up with a signal with them. When you give the signal they will know you see them not following expectations and hopefully they will make a correction.
Could you film a video on how to punish a kid with adhd?
