Classics Remodeled in ArchiCAD - The Roman Doric Column

Ғылым және технология

"...they measured a man's foot, and finding its length the sixth part of his height, they gave the column a similar proportion, that is, they made its height, including the capital, six times the thickness of the shaft, measured at the base. Thus the Doric order obtained its proportion, its strength, and its beauty, from the human figure." (Vitruvius, iv.6)
With the help of ArchiCAD's MORPH Tool comes the series featuring classical column orders like the Roman Doric order.

I love this video. I think to maintain the flexibility it depends on what the final goal is. I assume the scheduling abilities of a module are different from an object which are different from a Morph. But since anything can be remorphed, I think Module or Library Object are the way to go. An object can always be replaced with updated geometry...

Interesting movie. Good and clean modeling. What is the most flexible approach to integrate this MORPH object into a larger project or library while still retaining their editability? Load them as Modules? Save as Library Object while keeping a copy of the ArchiCAD PLN with only the column?
