He doesn't really have a singing voice but it does sound VERY pleasing when he raps. I also enjoy his rap flow since it's different from the typical "kpop rapper voice" ( deep, husky, loud ).

They appreciate Sehun's voice so happy, actually I'm really amazed by his voice because of its low register

Really glad they've been giving him more substantial lines now. He's been doing pretty well, had a proper solo track in the last concert tour, had a duet released with Chanyeol, given more lines as a rapper and, surprisingly, as a singer, and several dancing solos on special stages. He's improved so much across all departments (e.g. his rapping flow).

The song is not about "dont steal my girl." Maybe its misinterpreted in Englsh or something idk (dont wanna blaim the reactor). I guess "to keep her by my side" part might sound like a kidnapper in English?? In Korean its more like "to make her stay by my side." The couple in this song has just started dating (the girlfriend still feels shy and awkward) and the boyfriend hopes that his girlfriend falls for him as fast as he is falling for her. For that, the guy wants to make efforts so that the girl doesnt leave him. Its most obviois with the lines like "however you want it, teach me (meaning he will follow)," and "if you dont want to be by urside, msg me (meaning he will come out to accompany), and "there is no such thing like "LIE" to me (meaning he will be sincere)"

No, that is not it. The couple in this song have separated/broken up for some time. Now the guy is trying to get back to the girl. Some other man has already stolen the girl from the guy. That is why the guy warns the other man not to steal the girl, and at the same time the guy is trying to get the girl back, and keep her by his side from now on. That is the true meaning of tempo.

You do know that EXO's Korean and Chinese lyrics are usually not literal translations of each other, e.g. Korean and Chinese meanings (or English translations) of the lyrics may differ in order to fit the beat amongst other things? This is not my interpretation. Sehun literally once said "Chinese version and Korean version have the same meaning ". Hence, I suggest you learn one of the language, either Korean or Chinese, to begin with.

The song creates the scenario that they see each other everyday because they're both interested, except he's fallen in love and wants to make it official. He also wants to know that she loves him too. The first and second verses are two separate dates. In both of them, he’s trying to impress her. Tempo is referring to the momentum he’s gaining to win her affection. If she rejects him, the momentum would be lost. The delivery is passionate because he’s never fallen in love before, “I can’t believe / I’ve been waiting for this feeling” and “you’re my one and only savior”. LOVE this channel, by the way. I think Tempo is the most musically interesting title track from EXO. No, you misunderstood the lyrics. "Don't mess up my tempo" is a warning to other men. The singer warn other mens "not to steal their girl", and at the same time the singer also woo the girl. Both meanings are common theme for exo's title songs, ever since the growl and wolf era.

Shiera Lee Love Shot isn't that musically interesting so prob that's why they didn't react to it. In fact Umu wasn't gonna put Tempo into reaction list if not for the song's unique & complex musical structure & composition.

@@resurgingflame I get what you're saying but not all of the songs they reacted to are complicated. Love Shot's composition might not be that complex but isn't average too. Since they've done to this reaction, they could've just easily added love shot too. I guess thats what op is tryna say

@@strawberrycoon5382 Umu's been focusing more on songs that they can give comments on the composition or other music theory related things since the start of Season 2. Because that's what this channel brings as it's unique feature. If it's not musically complex then their reactions are the same as any other channel's. Given the number of reactors and their reactions are paired, I can also see why Umu does restrict to songs that are musically complex. There's only so much time in the day and it's not like she's running out of musically complex songs for them to react to. Since Love Shot's in the list of songs they will not be reacting to, it sounds like it's just not complex enough to make the cut.

In fact, many other agencies want to have a song like EXO - TEMPO , but the one who created this TEMPO song clearly says that such a song is only for EXO and only EXO can perform a song like TEMPO.

Came back to this to say that EXO really just made Tempo for the musicians. Like obviously everyone loves it, but all of the little details are just soooo musically interesting and I feel like people that actually study music and play music on their own are the ones that just GET IT the most. This is why i love kpop. They dare to blend amazing vocals and rap along with acapella and then that turns out amazing!! I dont think others can do this. It is difficult as hell to produce a good music and again they set the bar high. Standard of kpop is really high!!

I am new exoL coz I hate kpop but exo- is amazing for me they are the best kpop . They can do what ever? Kind of music/dance daebak I'm so amazed for their multitalent not only talent but their are so kind, humble loving too, even SM they didn't promote them better in US/world tour colab with western they become successful

The zoom in during the acapella breakdown is literally how I feel every time I hear this hahaha I wonder how everyone would feel about "Artificial Love" - it wasn't uber popular, but it definitely has interesting layers to it.
