I'm a huge prog metal fan, and I always describe 'Red Light' to my non-kpop friends as "just imagine if there was such a thing as prog pop". They may not end up liking the song, but they definitely always see what I mean and respect the originality in it. Prog fans can be *the* biggest music snobs, so getting them to admit anything is a victory.

Sosmcs See they're mainly just talking about the instrumentation, like interesting melody/harmony/chord changes they notice, or the instruments being played in the background lol. And yeah I'm jealous of pianists who can do that, my memory is just too awful to even remember a song after one listen

I didn't feel they were distracted though. They caught the musical nuances and were talking about the MV. Loved the pianists' reactions especially when they were geeking out about the chords!
