This episode of C&JMR really solidifies how there truly isn't anything else like this channel. It's this totally unique perspective and format that feels like a love letter to the existence of music as a whole, condensed into reactions to K-pop. Having the production team for Sam Kim's works (including Sam Kim himself!!) show up in video format made my cheeks hurt from smiling :')

I love how many surprises are in this video! The MOMENT after the credit, the mention of Anderson Paak, the BANANA, (on the shoulder), the saxophone and the entire improv out of nowhere, AND the upcoming special video!! Totally did not see any of these coming!!

Every time I listen to this song, it reminds me of the London based group Jamiroquai. The jazz funk sounds of that time . It’s so reminiscent of the group’s sound and as Will mentioned, the sample of Tom Misch as well giving that London jazz feel, with the blues and soul touch. A great song. The shift from major to minor, and coming back into the major, really gave it a spectacular twist to the song. Really well thought of.
