they dedicated this song for their former vocalist who passed away a few years earlier. And now their guitarist in this video also passed away causing this song to get darker.

the mix between heavy/thrash/power metal bands and orchestras is something really powerful, this band sounds great, i'm looking forward for more songs by them

What a beautiful piece... can we ask for more? We know that the human being is never stagnant, but we have to agree that everything is very good in this work. Above all is the inner feeling, which is what music needs to be genuine. This band belongs to a very real level of humanity, above all it has a unifying message on top of all that they certainly have to convey to us; life is sacred.

This took me by surprise. I wasn't sure at first but then the power of the song came through. Intense music with compelling lyrics and topped off with some very interesting orchestration. I was moved by this enough to want to hear more.

the other song of burgerkill album called killchestra all entire song is feat with orchestra n i love it bcs it's blend so well, u can hear the other song at their channel killchestra playlist but the other beside an elegy doesn't had a video mv

Never heard this band before, but I quite enjoyed that. I would not think a band named Burgerkill would sound like that. Thanks Doug and those that recommended Bugerkill.

Just checked out your Earthside. WOW they're incredible!!! Very prominent full orchestra. Powerful singer. Expressive dancers. They've got it all!!! Well deserving of a react! They've got my up vote. I don't really like death-metal but this one song is different, this is epic, a masterful work of art, but don't expect any other song as beautiful as this one, the other song I enjoy is Tiga Titik Noda Hitam, another is just not a taste of my music.

Great song! Probably you'll like to check a Tunisian band called Myrath, Doug! They do a middle-eastern ambinted heavy metal music, very particular and good! I recommend the song called "I want to die". It's not one of the most famous tracks, but I'm sure you're gonna like the harmony behind it. I'm sure that in some part you'll say: "Oh, it turns into major!" haha.

The band fron Bandung,West Java, Indonesia. Abiut 2M fans, they fanvade calkef Begundal..

Doug - you might like a band called Candy, who, despite what you might think from their name, were (maybe still are) a guitar-oriented rock band, as well as being the first all-female rock band from Malaysia. I've only been able to acquire their third album, which is called 'Absolute', from 2008. Half the songs are sung in English, and half in their native language. For your purposes, I recommend listening to the last track, 'Nyanyian Alam', (available on KZread), which is very Metallica-esque. Terrific production, wonderful drumming, spooky lyrics made even more effective because I don't understand them. I don't think you'd be disappointed.

I'd like to recommend "Merciless Times" by Myrath, a power/heavy metal band from Tunesia who combines middle eastern sounds and instruments with metal. Or "Downfall" by Distorted Harmony a progressive/djent band from Israel. I had a friend in college from Indonesia who recommended me Burgerkill, found it interesting but didn't really listen to then further. Sure will do now!
