Compact Luxury. I have one too. Very Reliable and even 2.3L gives pretty good acceleration thanks to the Supercharger (*Select "S" instead ow "W" on the trans so you get all the gears ("W" starts you off in 2nd gear)). Parts are plentiful...(I think because they made a couple million of these cars) and inexpensive. Fun to drive. Enjoy it.

I am actually acquiring my very own 99' Mercedes-Benz 230 Kompressor this weekend, so I have been watching a lot of videos; particularly, I wanted to mention that your video quality and narration compared to other channels I have seen featuring this car is excellent. If you don't mind me asking what kind of wax did you use since the shine is great. I hope that you continue to work on this vehicle either improving the mechanics or upgrading them out right! Hey William, thank you very much i try to be as detailed as possible and make my videos short at the same time. Unfortunately i have so many other projects i'm not sure how much coverage this car will get and most deffinetly will not be doing upgrades because my other cars are very demanding. I will be keeping this as a nice stock daily runner. The Mecedez Silver always shine so brilliant so i will not give all the credit to the wax. I used a wax i purchased years ago at the international car show, i don't recall the name right now but it's not anything special, any wax will do just fine you just have to take your time. Congrats on your soon to be kompressor, it's an awesome car.

Waxed the windows and all to fill and smooth any slight scratches. I'm not a professional detailer at all but just used basic principles so achieve a great outcome. The buffer was an inexpensive $50 buffer from harbor freight.

You got it with the full stuff, previous owner really took care of it.. How much you paid for?

It's been a while but it was like $1100 I got it for I believe. It was a nice car and the now new owner since I sold it loves it.
