Classic Sounds/Future Sounds With The Moog Matriarch And Grandmother | Synthesizer | Vintage King

Moog's Matriarch and Grandmother synthesizers are built with an eye equally on the brand's legacy and the future. In our new video, we're using both synths to create classic Moog tones and out-of-this-world sounds, while showing off the unique feature set of both: bit.ly/MoogSynt...

Matriarch is my all-time fave synth. A great tip for anyone who has one: take a slow moving triangle wave LFO into an attenuator, then take the attenuator out into "time 1 in". This way you get a detuned and warbly tape delay style sound. If you use this delay tip with some paraphonic chords you will be in Moog Heaven!

Would love for you all to share the patch sheets or pictures of the sounds. Tough to see all your settings.

Dammit, I knew I shouldn't have looked up any Matriarch videos after I fell in love with the Grandmother. I originally wanted a Sirin but now they cost a bit more than the Grandmother; now I want a synth that's doubly outside my price range! Lmao

Moog is beast, thank you man. Love the way you can really play with each sound for long durations and the fact that you can patch things into it

3:13 Love hearing that Oberheim sound coming out of a Matriarch. It's my favorite synth in my arsenal, and I didn't think it would be when I bought it because it's not the most expensive. But I lose hours in it.
