A bit of a disclaimer. This trailer was far into production when certain allegations came out against one of the musicians of Hyper Potions. This song would not had been used if this was known sooner. (It was literally days before release.)
As you can see from how much the trailer is synced to the song (with little animated bits specifically made for it) it would be rather difficult to actually change at that stage. I asked the community what would be the best course of action and they pretty much agreed that releasing it as originally intended was the best option.

@@thedreggmanrobotnikempire It's already in vanilla Generations as a skill you unlock after getting the Red Rings in Classic Sky Sanctuary They just called it the Twin Spin Attack for some reason

This is, like, the most kickass trailer for a mod I've ever seen. Some parts were a little too fast to follow, but everything else looked damn near official. Good stuff!

This is perfect. He looks exactly like he should. The eyes always bugged me before, with how they wanted them to be a middle ground for the original and western look. The squatch and stretch in the animations fit him perfectly.💜 Then I read the description and my smile faded away.

the fact Sonic has his Genesis Purple-ish blue color and improvement his moveset makes it so much better.

Just downloaded this yesterday, and after seeing that it had been 3 years since the last update I thought this mod was finished. This is amazing though! Definitely worth the wait!
An outstanding trailer, a wonderful mod and a whole new reason to revisit Generations once more. Would be simply outstandingly amazing to, perhaps, one day see Classic Amy in this :)

I’ve had my eye on this mod for a while! So glad it’s finally out. I have a question: Would it be possible for you to add a Classic Tails assist support (with the Y button) to the mod outside of the challenge stage? I notice no one has ever tried such a thing. I think it would add even more to your already stellar mod.
Nice! I like Classic Sonic's new look. It looks way more like him from the Sega Genesis games
Here are my first thoughts...I played every stage (aside from Planet Wisp fuck that level) and this is one of the best overhauls I've ever experienced. His jump is still a bit wonky to control but other then that everything else about it is great!

This legit feels like a real trailer to a Nintendo/Sega game! The way classic sonic moves is so ADORABLE! I love this mod it’s so cool + even KNUCKLES!? The editing is also insane! Honestly great mod and the fact that you fixed metals color palette makes it so much better and let’s not forget the Sonic 2 and Sonic R skin support like god it’s so COOL! Best mod I’ve ever seen👍

The inclusion of Classic Knuckles is also greatly appreciated, tough it has some bugs, as every 1st release has, it's got to be one of my favorite sonic generations mod of the last few years! Hope this brings out a new era in gens modding!

If it weren't for Sonic Mania then this outstanding mod wouldn't have existed. I think were to the point where this side of the Sonic fandom is making Classic Sonic good again which I admire because as far as characterization is aware, he's kind of like a little brother to Modern Sonic which becomes wholesome if you think about it and plus his gameplay style is designed to be fun (let's just not talk about how SEGA f**ked up his gameplay style in Forces. Thank god we have an improvement mod that throws that mistake out of the sky, I'm still mad at them for doing that to this day)
