Everything you said resonated me so fucking hard. The limitations is so fucking key. I have all the arturia synths in their V collection..so why the hell am I making music on Volcas... I got one of these too. It's so freaking fun. Great jams man. Awesome video.

I remember watching you a bunch back in the day and now Im doing a memory lane look through my subs and it looks like you have been shadow banned on youtube view wise. Wtf happened. I understand Tiktok brain really ruined a bunch of older creators but I still dont understand how some people get shafted this bad. I hope your doing alright Mike and life is good in other areas. You were one of the creators I grew up with in a way, I'm 31 now and its all so weird. Wish you all the best

@@wooviee I looked at his youtube view count for the last 2 years, in which 2 years combined probably doesn't cover a single month of expenses(rent/mortgage/food/insurance/utility's) based off known cpm rates. I didn't look at his twitch so I hope hes doing better there. It's just hard reality, no hate for the guy obviously

​@freeshot16 He didn't really get shadow banned, he has talked about this before but perhaps you missed it at the time. He was doing really well on KZread back in the day and at a certain point he was offered a full time position at ZAM that he decided to take which meant he couldn't spend as much time on his youtube channel, and unfortunately ZAM ended up not doing that well. It happens. He's doing just fine though, streams a lot on Twitch. Recently he has slowed down posting on this channel and decided to post most of his gameplay content on his other channel as to not clutter this channel.

Basically this. After ZAM went down in like 2016(?) I decided to hard switch to streaming full time and I’m still cruising and having a good time on their, but im transitioning to being more of a stay at home dad once we transition Declan out of after school daycare. Streaming will take a hit but recorded and edited content both on here and @akamikebplays is going to continue and hopefully evolve (less time streaming content into an infinite abyss is more time available for editing content to live on indefinitely), so we’ll see. My LP channel is doing great tho, video content almost nonstop since the beginning of the year and people seem to be loving it. Here I want to focus on shorter edited video content - games, music, AI, news, whatever, as long as it’s not 45 minutes of straight unedited content lol

@@akamikeb Thats great I didn't even see you had another channel. The youtube channel links didn't show you had another one not sure if that's a restriction or something. Glad your doing well man, the stay at home dad thing really is a fulltime job in itself. Your kids lucky to have a parent that can devote some more time to them when they are young, my parents both worked full-time and I dont have many great memory's with them because of that. Unironically jealous 20 years later in life of people who got that growing up. I'll check out the LP channel and twitch to catch up a bit with you. Cheers
