Today i show you a 70's Marshall JMP50 which belongs to ma friend and bandmate @ReinhardStranzinger . I use the Low Input plug which is in my opinion the more flexible channel.

Beauty. I got a '75 1987 50w all original (except 2 power caps) paired with a '74 4x12 original creambacks

I have had 3 JMP 50's since 1971. Having only ever played in original material bands since '69. So between bands I often sold guitars or amps to get by. I have never tried an amp I like better. I have rented everything that has come along and gigged it so should know. I am 77 and will see myself out with my current Marshall.

Killer amp, if the new Marshall organisation wanted to win over more players they should re issue this model, preferably the 1978 Master volume 2204 specifications . Used them in the studio and live in my humble opinion the last of the great Marshall amps. Great presentation as always!

Not a strat guy but you make it sound sweet. Run a Hafler hellrazor into the front of a few 2204s and you get searing metal with sweet mids. No g12-t75s, thank you. Great licks and nice tone, thanks!

Sounds great! Had a sunburst -64 a long time ago with that transition logo. My eye get's a little wet hearing this. Played through a Vox ac30 at the time. Are these original pickups? Thanks!

2204's are great. Suhr reactive load not so much, none of them sound right to me. Excellent as always HB.

most of the time i use old marshall cabs. the last vid i used the suhr. cheers
