In this video I am drawing with Photoshop and a Intuos Pro Med Pen Tablet.
In this video I team up with Goodgis to recreate a classic Nintendo screen grab and one of each other's games in our own styles. I had the game Eathbound (or Mother 2 in Japan) to redraw in my style. While I've never played the game myself I know a bit and had a blast scaling it up to the 32x32 px resolution I usually work at. On top of Eathbound I also redraw Dewdrop Dynasty, the long term project Goodgis is working on.

Your art style is improving a lot. For a moment there the Mushroom king was looking a bit like Whitevault had drawn it.

I wouldn't exactly say that you redrew the Earthbound sprites. Literally, you just upscaled the sprites and then cleaned the lines lol, but I still like the effort tho!

Why are you upscaling pixel art by 50%??? Of course that's going to make it a mess. You've said before your pixels are actually 3x3 blocks - upscaling by 300% is the way to go.

Your Ness, for me, is a bit meh... You remove the charm of the character and what he be in general. It is better to keep the same style from his original game without the white for his eyes. It is not bad, but the eyes are not right; like remove the white, made them only black with a bit of darker blue (like his Melee counterpart) and there it go, a good Ness. I hope you understand this feedback.
