This Classic Mini, is truly amazing!
Its powered by (what was originally) a 1275 cc cast Iron classic mini block and is now married to a Twin Cam BMW K series Motorcycle head.
Gone are the overhead valves, pushrods and rockers. … WoW!

glad I came across this thinking of doing some hillclimbs in my mini based Sabre Sprint Tarmac rally car after I turn 70 next month
Excellent vid. Found a hillclimb ticket in our Kit Car when we got it. Often wondered what it was about.

In the late 90's I met a man in the Los Angeles area that had a wicked fast Mini. He had a BMW twin cam head and a turbo. Thing was nuts. I was told if you didn't pay attention when you floored it you shifted a lane over. He brought it out for a club dyno day, but didnt run it, he just came to hang out.
I've seen this modification before and it's highly effective, back in the day longman slark head's were used to good effect too.
it's not fuel from fossils.
