Thank you. Unfortunately I sold it to make way for other projects. Wish I had a big barn to keep everything. I’ve just completed the Vauxhall nova on the channel.

@@Tonyg_restorations To right, its as if they were built for hand brake turns. They love it. I remember racing my mate up on Deacon Rd near the old test centre, it just started raining so we finished and I just pulled my hand brake, spun 180 and finished inches from the kerb. I 💩 it but my mates thought it looked ace.

Thank you so much. I wish you well with your mini. Yes they are 13” superlight alloys. They are wider than the mini light ones and have the lovely deep dish. If you don’t have a sport pack mini you will need to cut the front arches out more to allow them to fit properly. The thing in the box is a new heater matrix as my old one sprung a leak. Also the colour is bmw mini hyper blue if you was wanting to know. Many thanks Tony.

I have a 1990 G reg mini city. Bought from new. 57k genuine miles on the clock. Still my only car. Still in regular use. I wish you lived nearby and could look after it for me. Mechanics with the knowledge are hard to find.

@@Tonyg_restorations No probs, it's easily done. Simple to fix. If you look closely at the middle of the fan once removed they usually say "Engine Side"

Hi i bought it from a private seller but can easily be found online. Just search for classic mini twin dtm exhaust. 👍🏻

whats your rim sizes and what size of tyres are those?

They are 7x13 mini superlight alloys with 175/50/13 tyres. 👍🏻

First official car I ever purchased from new 1275 GT European Spec added by me ie. 12" wheels and Big discs . German TUV told me the car was an illegal Rebuild by me. Was ist das für ein Fabrikat und hier steht das Trommebremsen mussten dran sein I produced a few purchase docs and asked I stamped the original chassis number into the chassis. Three minutes later it was on German Numberplates . The old number was MG389B . I had to replate it with FAL- Brilliant little car, scared the shit out of my brotherin law and he worked for Porsche in Hagen. And that guy could drive, holy shit . He picked me up from North Germany in a normal 280e Merk untuned nothing. All I could hear was the aquaplaining because I ws in the back. Dont think he was below 190-230 unless there was traffick. Trouble is there was no traffick 2,5 Hrs later we was at his front door. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I said quite impressive but try it in a 1275 GT Mini and not by Autobahn . So we went for a beer and talked cars and he carried me home. Best guy ever. Werner Steinbach. War auch seinerzeit in Hagen Rally Club würde echt gerne mit dem Kontackt aufnehmen. Seine Frau Heiß Evilyn auch eine ganze Hübsche Blondine. Marcus der Sohn und der Kater. Der war lieb. Wenn das hier einer liest. Melden Bobby.
