I had not forgotten the incredible amount of work you put in to revert the body back to MK1 Spec, but still amazed once again to see it all again in your great recap. There can be no doubt at all that you are the owners of the healthiest authentic MK1 shell IN THE WORLD and you should be justifiably proud of yourselves. The amount of effort to change the cant rails alone was heroic. You've practically built a MK1 shell complete, using the MK2 as a jig! Still amazed how much of the shell differed between the two generations. Thank you and glad to see you back!

51 years and 14 Minis later, you two skillful men showed me how little I know about the car really. This is one of the finest Mini videos I have seen in years as it highlights the many differences in the shells that so many of us did not know. Rear window, lower door apertures yes, but did not realise to the extent the rear pax windows and upper door window frame differed so much. Excellent work!

Some people might say there is very little 1960's mini in this car ,but i'd say after watching this video there is very little 1989 Mini in the finished car too ,it's just pieces of steel in the end,as long as you don't decieve anyone into thinking it's a total original car(which very few cars are really) it's OK Nice job ,never knew there were so many little differences ,thanks for the video.
