I mean this horn is like an old fart train horn 😂 The horn after on the next clips are way looking like a high speed train

I remember a while ago when this video came out, me and my little sister sat in front of out TV waving at the class 390’s for them to tone ❤

The yellow line is there for a reason!

0:35 LOL 4:11 horn

Most of these drivers were sounding the horn at you for being too close to the platform edge, the yellow line is there to save your life

I like 0:35 and 5:43 lol. 0:46 is the best.

Good collection. Most of these trains seem very fast, were you or anyone else clocking the actual speeds? Also, what station locations were these passes recorded at, on which specific rail line(s)?

Nobody was clocking speeds but usually 100-125, the locations were norton level crossing and Acton Bridge both on the WCML, thanks

Nice, but please, stand back from the yellow line, or, get a tripod, Because, you stay back of the line but your recording is close, but, it is beter to stand back

Where was that LC thing that you went to

Most of the drivers were sounding the horn at you because you were too close to the platform edge! These trains are passing at high speed and most likely maximum operating speed! These trains cannot stop quickly if you fell on to the tracks. The yellow line is there for a reason

Trains on the ECML or WCML typically reach speeds of up to 125 Miles per hour. Close to the class 390's max operation speed of 140 mph (I think) so yeah if someone fell on the track and the class 390 was at 125 mph and approaching the stopping distance would be to large for it to stop in time.

That’s not a real pitch of a train horn it’s called a Doppler Effect but you can only hear a higher pitch and the sound is 90 100 110 and 120 mph
