The lightning spell in the clan capital is actually really useful because you can use it to reset inferno towers when they lock onto your flying fortress or mountain golem. honestly i don't know what id do without it.

It's also useful in taking out the super drags in dragon cliffs. Usually ends up allowing me to take it out in 2 attacks

Can sometimes help the p.e.k.k.a take out some regular defences in one hit without support troops too, like when you use the freeze spell and have one space left over

The lightning spell in clan capital actually useful, maybe you don't know or notice because most lightning player in home base use it as the starter of the game, not in the middle. The lightning spell can actually *zap* buildings, heroes, and CCs, canceling their attack for a few seconds, and it's truly useful in capital base to stun the Blast Bow, Rocket Launcher, Inferno Tower (you can reset the Single Inferno damage in home base too by zapping it). This is especially useful when you're attacking using mountain golem, that's why I always bring it with Ice Spell, except when I'm using the skeleton spells.

Everyone's hating on lightning when it's clear intended use is to reset Inferno Towers and the sort, or alternatively to take out low hp buildings that are grouped up.
