The loss of this dear man was such a blindside that no-one speaks about him here. Or is it just me? How can it be that it actually physically feels like a beloved family member died even now? I know that what I feel right now in February 2021 , after this clip inexplicably appeared atop my KZread feed and that I actually watched, is palpable grief. No one else articulated the madness/absurdity of this world like these two. Diffused it. Served it up cold. What a pairing. Never again. No more words.

They were the stark, unvarnished mirror of absurdist truth. Not surprised our elected dealers (leaders?) are mute. Occasional mentions from on-air journos aside, they're ours to remember.

But can you explain what you thought bill shorten was going to do when he got into government. Like what was the fear everyone had about him. @@timothyhawken9266 my comment was frivolous and not too considered. I actually voted for Labor. Why? For their policies and because of the damage done by conservative governments over the years. Morrison has continued the run of damage and incompetence.

It's gold. Shame we'll get no more. These two were clever together but Mr Clarke's broader comedy is a testament to his individual wit and writing genius. Going to spend my morning going over some of the old and gold while I digest it. RIP Mr Clarke.

If someone who had no clue who these guys were just stumbled upon this, they might actually believe they are true and current politicians.

It's a sad reflection on the state of modern media that satire like this, The Daily Show & The Onion as well as others often have better analysis of events than "real" news organisations

I think this was one of my all time favourites; I couldn't stop laughing when it was on the ABC TV had to watch it on youtube to make sure I got the words correct

Looks like the Scot(t) problem has since intensified.

Sometimes the British have been slow to recognize and accept that the problems which exist in other countries also exist in GB.
