I'm confused as to why Clark changed directions when he saw the shadows at 0:46. The bullet still hit the same glass case behind him, he didn't save anyone, he didn't avoid anything he couldn't have avoided originally. The only thing I can think of is he's just now realizing he has gotten so fast he can really outrun a bullet and he stopped to appreciate his own speed.

If only he has The Flash speed. He'll be Super Super Man. Lmaof!

Well because for starters you don't get to text messages on your t.v. while watching " Smallville," DVD player or blue ray discs unless you have text messages hook up to the DVD player internet connection to your cellphone computer or laptop computer . Which is kinda hard to do if you are stopping the t.v. shows everytime you wanna text messages someone.

I always enjoyed how they did his super speed.

Never ceases to amaze me how they always film bullets from a machine gun reach their target at the same time as if they can be fired off faster than the speed of them landing. I don't care how fast the firing sequence is, only one bullet would ever be visible in flight at the same time from one gun.

Uzi muzzle speed - 365 m/s Uzi firing speed - 10 rounds per second. If at 36.5 metres away, each bullet would hit as another one was approaching. Unless its the micro uzi - in which if you were at 16 metres away, clark would see another bullet as one was about to hit him. If its a modified mac-10, he'd see 3 bullets at 10 metres. Submachine pistols fire about 7-16 bullets a second.

Damn, that's a lot of gun knowledge.

With the super speed of Clark Kent as shown in Smallville, how could anyone ever shoot, hit, or connect a punch, or have anything fall on him, without him wanting it? Yet, this happened all the time.

It's CW's logic. Check out the Flash, then you'll be more surprised when literally everybody is faster than "the Flash" and be able to fuck him up in every episode

One thing I learned from this is the power of vision .. that what makes it easier to get those vistim out of trouble

Well someone forgot to added high speed gun powder in the bullet. So they added quick sands in the bullet to slow down the velocity projection of the bullet.

Not so fast, I guess. Certainly slower than flash. He's just faster than a bullet a little bit. But flash is as fast as he can stretch the time, a day like a month, an hour like a week, a second like a longgggggggggggggggg day.

Bullets could still hurt him until near the end of Season 2. He noticed he was becoming more powerful and figured he could tank bullets after he was hit with a car bomb.

Bullet still can hurt him in season 1 but after that the only bullet that can hurt him is a kryptonite bullet

Clark doesn't want the bullet and bullets to bounce back off Clark to hit someone else and trying to prevent damage to private property. Clark has to figure out how to angle his body to direct at something or someone else who should be stopped . But sometimes Clark doesn't have much time to use his own body to safely directly hit somewhere else safely without any harm to one another person and private property.
