Clarice Orsini was the wife of Lorenzo the Magnificent.The marriage was arranged by Lorenzo's mother Lucrezia Tornabuoni, who wanted her eldest son to marry a woman from a noble family to enhance the social status of the Medicis.She was also called on by others throughout the area to support their requests to her husband and was treated as a representative of her husband, an unusual role for a woman in that time and place.People sought her support in the easing of taxes and releasing family members from exile or prison.
On 30 July 1488 (morning at 2 pm) she died in Florence, and was buried two days later. Lorenzo was not with her when she died, nor did he attend the funeral, because he himself was very ill.

She is (was) more than just a wife! So beautiful 😍!
Even though she was not my most favourite character from the show, I was very happy how they decided to portraite her. Her portraite of modest, faithfull, christian wife who is not shown to be super strong female lead was very needed. Not only they stayed loyal to real life Clarice especially with constant reminder of her religion and faith but also created very believable portraite of early renneisance women. Also not only Lorenzo did not attend her funeral, people of Florenc did not attend as well, because she was not popular there. So sad. I miss this show a lot, it was awesome.
It is pure art,you gave her deserved attention❤️ May she rest in peace🥺

Just got back from a trip to Florence and went to the Medici Chapel and other Medici famous sights. I was shocked to learn that the graves of the Medici wives (sisters and mothers too) are in unmarked graves (albeit in the Basilica) whilst their husbands obviously have these massive tombs to commemorate them. Just shows how incredibly unbalanced those time really were.
I've been watching this all day and I can't believe how anyone could dislike it, this is a true beauty, and @YORKSCROWN i want to say thank you, for bringing Clarice to light just like you do in other edits and Your editing is Truly Beyond compare 💖 Congratulations on all your Subs and likes. I feel bad I only recently discovered your channel but I'm SO glad I did, I love this so much, I've already commented but I couldn't help myself commenting again lol 😊 Clarice is special to me, I don't know why but she is and im happy for this edit and thank u this truly is 🤩
