This guy's songs are all so polished. I hear a new instrument or layer every time I replay the song

Looked up the producer of this album because it sounded SO so familiar (it's clarance who woulda known) and turns out he also produced for Rina Sawayama! This talent is so recognizable!

not in this realm. jai paul has somewhat similarities (crush cover), but most artists are either too avant garde (igloo ghost...) or too pop/rnb (autre ne veut...) to compare

I'm sure there are others. I just happened to stumble on Clarence, this channel has less than 6k subscribers, that's pretty much nothing. I imagine there are plenty of similarly popular (or less popular) artists we haven't found, with their fans having similar conversations on their videos.

There is ariel pink and iglooghost if you want a similar simmilar vibe. But there are many crazy artist out there..deerhoof, caroliner, xiu xiu to name a few. You just have do explore a bit.

You are seriously one of the most brilliant musicians that’s unknown right now. Without Melons reviews no one would know who you are. I hate to sound rude but it pisses me off that you don’t put more effort into marketing yourself and your music to a wider audience. There’s fucking black metal bands that get more views than your music and your music has pop elements Please for the love of God lose your pride and get a team that can help you market yourself online. You should be at least as famous as Death Grips in a few years but you’re basically a nobody compared to them. With that being said EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. I show your music to is blown away by it. More people need to hear your stuff man. There’s a lot of appeal in what you do. Just gotta got more people to give it a listen.

I'm kinda underwhelmed, too. And I felt the same way about Fold 'Em and Naysayer Godslayer. Although there are some experimental aspects to this, it's not as in-your-face or confrontational as No Now. And I feel like the lyrics have become simpler than stuff on No Now. I really liked the mysticism of the lyrics in No Now. I hope this new album retains some of that!

No Now was a rocket shot off this planet, ironically Leave Earth seems to be a very terrestrial, but catchy groove. Not counting Fold 'Em, but all of the released tracks have been decent toe-tappers at least.

You guys gotta understand this guys made albums that put Pink Floyd albums to shame and far as I understand Clarence is a one man band. He needs to make a less experimental album to draw in a wider audience. It’s the DAMN/Kendrick Lamar play. Basically an artists that’s by being appreciated he way they should be goes and puts out a more main stream and less experimental piece of work with the intent of building a bigger fan base before returning to the wild experimental sounds.
