I saw an interview with the actress, and she said playing Claire is wonderful but absolutely exhausting. The character is so tense and anxious, often panicking, speaking very quickly, yelling, and pretty much freaking out 95% of the time. Shooting for hours and hours at that level must be SO tiring!

I mean you've got to hand it to Nicola Coughlan and how into the role she gets. She must need to book a very long spa break somewhere after shooting Clare Devlin for weeks on end, especially in the last series where she got even more anxious and shrieky. She really is a walking cack attack in Erin's parlance 😊

She’s a very good actress. She’s by far the best character in Bridgeton and that’s a very different role. Hope she get’s the recognition she deserves after season 3

That episode was a huge emotional rollercoaster. The sheer joy then the sheer sadness combined made for such an amazing episode.
