But in ‘Void’, after being left by him it already was not enough to her just sit at the cemetery and to her dead parents. She needed to see them in person to forget about the pain after Clark’s words _’I don’t love you’._ That’s why she became drug addicted. That is the whole episode was allusion to her pain after breaking up with Clark.

I agree with you but remember that the series have ten seasons it’s why the producers wait so long to let (Clark) told his secret to lana .If the series was in nowdays his secret will be revealed sooner but when we look at the audience of smallville at the season ten are much better than the others superheroes series which os unbelieavable.
