We definitely prefer the ones with the long T handle. Easier on the back. They are available in aluminum too.

I'm not a fan of those heavy clam guns either. My wife uses a plastic one, and I usually just use a shovel. Love your videos

Good clam video. Have same type of clam gum made out of aluminum. Much lighter. That one looks like its made from steel.

I was thinking the same thing. My first gun was steel and my back was destroyed the next 4 days. Went to an aluminum and it made a world of difference. I ended up breaking a weld on it and decided to spend the money on a razor vac

I also us a long tube aluminum because my back is not as well as I would like.

@@seasonaloutdoorswitherin297 it’s an aluminum clam gun that the tube is an elliptical shape with a vent tube that has a valve. The guy that makes them sells them out of the back of his truck on did days by the green lantern pub in Copalis

Interesting, I twist my clam gun, but you jerk it up and down. Does it work better for you? Works easier?

Pumping up and down causes liquefaction making it easier for me to push the gun down kind of like a jack hammer does.
