A few interesting statistics about Clacton, courtesy of the Electoral Calculus: 96% ethnic white population 76% voted to leave the EU 65% deprivation 42% employment 32% well educated Average age: 56.8 Political leaning: Strong right Previous election results: Conservative (2019 & 2017), UKIP (2015) That is all.

I genuinely think Farage wants to lower it and will do whatever he can do to so. If that makes me naive then so be it. And that is why democracy is a sham. All the shops cater to them, all community activities are based around them. Outsiders are not welcome. -They dont respect our traditions and values, dont have the same manners and respect as British do, they dont have the same customs or morals. They dont have the same views on women. -They hang around the streets in gangs trying to intimidate the locals and committing crimes against them, so they obviously eventually move out. -They also have much higher rates of crime than native British. -They dont respect the area, everything gets trashed. Rubbish dumped everywhere. -They drive up rents by overcrowding areas and living many to a house. -They suffocate local services and school places -They dont respect our history, infact they actively hate it -They try to control your local area through politics, so the priority changes from British things to Islamic things. I tell you what, I'll turn your area 95% pakistani, then see how your life is. You wont like it, trust me. • @ArmourGX

Depends on the seaside town really. I live in a seaside town that's still incredibly popular for tourism, but the problem is that the profit all goes to the business owners who own the holiday parks, restaurants etc. They absorb basically all of the profit while paying most of their staff minimum wage and the only time they reinvest in the community is to make the town more appealing to tourists so they can charge higher prices, increase tourist capacity and therefore make even more profit. Meanwhile the locals can barely even afford to rent let alone own properties.

As someone who is 23 and lives in Clacton I apologise for some of those comments made in that video. But if you are going on a candidate by candidate basses unfortunately Clacton does not have a great bunch to choice from. The main three being the current Giles Watling who I have spoken to a few times hasn’t done much to benefit Clacton more shops than ever have closed and the roads are the worse I’ve seen them. The second candidate from labour Jovan Owusu-Nepaul who does not live in the area and so far has just said I’ll fix the hospital (it’s actually improved under Tory government in my opinion) fix the roads and help hard working people so no policy’s. Finally the man himself nigel farage who is just using Clacton as a base due to the fact we once held the UKIP seat so believes he can get relatively easy win. I’m not saying who I want to vote for because I truly don’t know with these three. Do I just vote party or candidate? Please send help.
