    My favorite part of The Rivalry isn’t the wins/losses or bragging rights. It’s seeing players from both teams go and succeed in the league. Marvin Harrison Jr is gonna be a top 5 receiver as a rookie. And CJ is already a top 10 qb in the league in my opinion. Michigan fan as well. Much respect, hope for a healthy season for yall and excited for a big game November 25th. Hope we get number one vs number two this year. If Michigan can beat Penn State as good or better than OSU, they should leap Georgia. I don’t see a team overtaking OSU unless we beat you guys though and it will be a tough game. McCord is gradually turning into a good qb and will be a force next year

    @jamescooper3324 JJ has been outstanding this year. I'm a Buckeye fan who lives near AA so all my friends are Michigan fans and we watch most the games together. McCarthy is putting his passes right where he wants them, avoids mistakes, good pocket presence and footwork. He's really came into his own this year. This Michigan team woulda stomped TCU. Corum is scary as ever. Edward's seems off this year though for whatever reason, but it doesn't matter with the way Corum is destroying people. I call him the juggernaut.

  • @peepininmywindow5170
    @peepininmywindow51709 ай бұрын

    I got to see him at person yesterday and could not believe how damn good he is this quickly. What shouldn't be lost in this is he had a pretty subpar first half. His timing was off, he threw a few passes out of bounds that should have been long completions or touchdowns, and completely missed his middle action that was wide open. He came out and immediately after halftime was a completely different ball player who commanded that entire offense efficiently and did not make a single bad read. Plus he's really damn mobile when the pocket breaks down, and has an incredible base and footwork. If you would have told someone the last decade, "They left him 46 seconds on the clock, that's too much time" they would have rightly laughed you out of the City of Houston. Please let this young man stay healthy. Houston has 8 picks in next years draft, and can trade for a ton of talent. Let them get a marquee RB and a veteran to put in the middle/edge of that defense? Houston will be in the mix the next 2-3 years with a possible playoff run in 5. Welcome to the league Young Fella!!!

    Bro Joe Burrow did an incredible playoff run in what, year 2? CJ Stroud is playing around that level right now WITHOUT a Chase or Higgins, so I could definitely see the Texans turning into a legitimate contender in the next 2-3 years with a few smart off-season moves. Honestly, the only real barrier is how deep the AFC is.

    This performance doesn’t surprise me, the way he destroyed that Alabama defense was something special, and his game would translate well into the NFL. What you call a deep pass today 30!yards was an intermediate pass deep was 35 plus in air. An intermediate 15-21 and those incredible intermediate crossing patterns were driven with velocity. Never seen a qb flick his wrist 58 yards not throw it flick his wrist down field with authority. What made Danny different he took a vastly undermanned Miami team to SB against a vaunted SF team they got play for walshes offense what made 49ers special was thier league best defense. They had more hall of famers on defense than offense lol I believe Patrick burrows stroud and Herbert are top recent quarterbacks drafted. Are incredible passers. Be happy ifcyou have one of them. Hopefully not get saddened with a poor coach like Herbert has who makes some of most adventurous coaching decisions game has ever seen. Stroud is going to be generation defining. Way more so than Caleb Williams. Time to start recognizing that the most important aspects of playing QB at the NFL level are ball placement, throwing with anticipation, and being decisive. Extending plays in the NFL only works as a complement to these things. Bryce will be fine once the situation improves.

  • @calebhoffman6368

    Extending plays needs to be an extra plus to a qb. Not a major selling point imo. For a majority of qbs it just doesn’t translate to the nfl or just isn’t sustainable.

    Texans got veterans in every position to help the young guys-- QB Case Keenum, WR Robert Woods and Noah Brown, TE Dalton Schultz, and also on defense. Shanahan scheme is QB-friendly. OC Bobby Slowik came from coaching defense so he's able to design plays that counter the 'rules of defense.' Add CJ's work ethic. Coaches marvel at the amt of info he is able to absorb.

Next to no weapons outside of Thielen and Chubba Hubbard is the lead back, beating out Sanders who was supposed to support him. It's not hype at this point. He's just light years ahead of his class....always was, probably always will be unless Will Levis turns into a jacked John Elway. Stroud had that "it" factor. Above everything else that championship game showed in his game - the smart pocket presence and elusiveness, the arm, the accuracy, the ability to put a team on your shoulders and make your teammates believe was his unblinking resilience and the will to keep fighting and always in the moment rather than looking ahead or behind. An injury could derail the kid, but I just don't see him derailing himself.

    The issue the Texans have right now is....they don't have a running game, and on defense leaves the middle of the field open to in-routes or in-an-outs...they have a banged up secondary...hopefully they come to address this in the offseason along with the run game while they continue to build the pieces to be a superbowl contender

    I said it coming out of school, CJ Stroud will be one of them 1s because he was the best pocket passer coming out of college. He’s going through his progressions very well for a rookie. Coming from a Penn State graduate, he is one of my favorite players in the league

    Imagine youre the head coach of Panthers, all pre-draft you studied and admired CJ Stroud, imagined him on your offense and thought you were really gonna get him cause all the team management and scouts wanted CJ, then the owner drafts tiny Bryce, and everyone expects a turnaround magic with a small kid.lmao That would take out the soul in you too. Bryce just dont have 'it', CJ is him.
