As soon as I saw Tropic Thunder I liked the video. Actually, great video references. Made up for the cook. Kidding - the chops looked money. Fun fact, when I dialed up the KZread this morning the first thing I see is a CJ video. So I watched it - Wendy's Breakfast Baconator. I watch it entirely, go to comment and realize I already did...10 months ago LOL.

It’s beennn a while….. (insert stained encore here) my son took over my KZread. I just repurposed my blackstone we locked & loaded to power thru this Florida heat & make some goodness!
New but I like it
I didn’t have all the ingredients to make it properly but we did the panko fried pork and was good. Will be on the look out for the bashans…. I’ve seen it but never bought any and now that I’m looking for it can’t find it…

Hey CJ you should do a video on how to make a crane adovada dinner on the black stone. You ever get the carne adovada from Nelson’s meat market on old coors road? I made it the other day with some potatoes and onions for side dish and it was different but delicious.

Looks amazing. I think it's his sister did!😂
I don't know if you've ever done this so forgive me if you already know about it. Putting your Panko in a food processor to grind it down a bit before you bread is a really good move. It still cooks up just as crispy, but gives a much less aggressive mouth feel. It's a very simple step but for chicken or pork cutlets it really elevates the dish and creates what I feel is a much better texture for certain dishes. Give it a try and let me know if you agree.

Yes, the broccoli slaw comes from the stems which is a great way to use up a part of the broccoli that usually gets thrown away. You can even mix it into other cabbage slaws and add to your existing recipes for a little variety. Let us know if you try it out.
lol. Cooking on my bs, drinking a couple adult beverages, watching the show, trying to figure out how I was gonna rip it…. Out walks my wife for the comments. She looks at me and asks… ‘do you ever say anything nice to him?’ I. FELL. OUT. So for my wife. She loves your ‘better than cheddar chicken sandwich (I eat it)’, we love your ‘Carmel Dijon glazed pork chops (and smashed potatoes). There are others. We also thought tonight’s recipe was good so we’ll try it. So it’s official…. I’ve posted a positive comment. When’s the next guest chef??

Guys I’m new to the channel and new to cooking on the griddle. I have a question… Where can I get that awsome cutting board your using 🤟🏼
@BlackstoneGriddles
11 ай бұрын
I don't believe it's a specific brand of cutting board (CJ might be able to chime in and correct me) but just look for a good quality "End Grain" cutting board. It helps keep your knife sharp. There are a lot of great options out there. Chef Nate has recommended Boos Block in the past which makes an excellent product that will last you a lifetime. Let us know what you end up getting and send us some pics when you do. So glad to have you on board!!

CJ I have to admit I do skip thru some of your content and found watching all those clips annoying. Now I have joined the dark side ( insert clip) and will actually attempt some of your recipes but will ton down your sauces as I feel you get a little carried away with the sauce. Maybe Nat can give you some saucy tips. Keep up the great content !
