i think the sound is different from the usual , not cause of the strings, but cause of the Tune. Its tuned down half a tone man :) I dont think artists this big just put brand new strings on guitars and go out to play. They need the perfect tone.

Actually the songs the way Slash was playing it. Myles took another lap of the chords to improvise some singing. Slash played it the way is recorded. But whatever... As pro musicians they got in the way inmidiatly

@@joebranton Listen to the original song. Count the times Slash plays the E minor Chord and then compare them to this performance. We can make a bet. Just listen how Axl sings right after the second solo it's over... Inmidiatly he sings "Look at the shoes you're filling". Myles don't, for some reason, he left empty of lyrics the first part. Then he tried to sing the whole verse... But Slash just played the way it is recorded and the way it should be.

HAHA, I love Slash's "don't care" face while playing that hardass song, only the ones who play acoustic guitar can actually relate how hard is to make that solo's on that fuckin' guitar. Awesome ❤️😂

@casey Merrifield nope. Nope. Axl wasn't hardly "good" Axl made good music with high vocals but was not "good" nor Kennedy is any better than Axls poor control during his live performance. When all you're doing is sitting on a stool, there is no excuse for not being able to sing. They could've got someone who could hit those notes powerfully.

@@reesejeffrey6063 It's actually harder to reach a powerfull singing voice when sitting since you have less core power (abs and diaphragm). And comparing singers isn't the best thing to do, especially with Axl and his 6 octaves reach...

I've been listening to this performance for the last 6 months at least 2 times a day and I can't get enough of it.Slash killed it with the guitar and Myles' voice is awesome

Fuck, man... I like to close my eyes when listening to music if I'm just sitting down in a chair, and there's just a wave of eaze that engulfs me when I hear Myles use his lower register, but also when he reaches up to those top notes (seemingly so effortlessly)... Slash was also fantastic, but god damn, this performance was made by Myles's new take on it. Kudos, mates!

11 years later I come again on this video But proudly to say that my goal of meeting slash in person is fulfilled Among the only few Indian musicians who got a chance to meet him in person during his India tour

Myles is amazing but all that matters is that Slash is showing why he's one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Seriously the twangiest (that's now a word) acoustic performances I've heard. Cannot stop listening to this!

Myles is a boss. Always loved his voice. It is pointless to compare him to Axl because they are so different.

I'm gonna push the boat out and say in my opinion his voice suits the newer gunsa songs better than axls voice did, listening to axl live nowadays is fuking torture, early gunsa stuff was more kinda punky rock which did suit axl better and I suppose made gunsa what they became .... massive !

IDK. Axl can no longer finish the phrases. Myles can. But realistically, Miles has gotten older and I’m not sure where he is now. Axl is done. Thanks for the AC/DC Tour. That alone makes Axl a Legend and Superstar in my my mind. Who else would have done this? And the bigger question is who else COULD have done this? No one on this planet

@@elpllc7541 myles is as awesome as ever into his early 50’s! Axl blew out his voice already in his 20’s. Myles can do Axl’s stuff without any problems; Axl could never at his best do all Myles’ stuff!

Myles is amazing, he has his own type of singing and he kind of mixed with Axl's. His voice range is too damn good.

myles is myles... in my opinion i think myles is better, hes cleaner, & has a really well trained voice for his rich melody style. don't get me wrong, you can't ever replace that raw, untrained, talent that axl brought gnr in the 80's-90's.... its just damn axl!! your to old for the shit you used to be doing!!! he needs to do what eric clapton does nowadays, and take it easy, just rework songs to a slower pace so he can keep up.

myles didn't forgot the lyrics, slash actually did..forgot the guitar parts, doing the pre-chorus riff instead of the verse..but the bottomline is,the performance is mind blowing and they are both great..i'm really a big fan of slash, i wish i could learn that playing ability someday...thumbs up guys!!!
