I love how the film started off slightly unstable and sideways, it really added on to the feel.

When it comes to nuclear war this might be the most lighthearted film ever made. But then again it's barely mentioned here. Still though, this film is pretty cheerful compared to other Cold War propaganda at the time.

I love these cold war propaganda films..pretty sure they scared the living crap out of the ppl who had to live through it,though. I talked to a nurse that used to work for the doctor I used to go to. She lived through that era. I asked her "How did you guys get through it w/your sanity intact?" She told me "Well, you made sure you were right with God,and you just lived...it really didn't come to my mind unless someone brought it up.You just prayed for the best, and prepared for the worst"

Now young adults & teens treat it as advertising material for a video game series.

Jonathan Tan true, but some just like the history (like me) I’ve been collecting stuff and not because of fallout I like them because my grandparents always told me about what they had to do.

No , It wasn't scary . People had a sense of responsibility and worked there best to carry it out . You call it Propaganda and that mostly depends on which outcome you wish to have .

I wanted to complain how Barney Rubble wasn't doing the voices, but it's probably better that other voice artists got a chance.

MY GRADE SCHOOL K TO 6TH WAS A FALLOUT SHELTER AND ALL IT CONSISTED OF WAS A TIN SIGN !

  • @rapman5363

Actually the sign was tin,so what? What does it matter ? I guarantee you the school had stockpiles of food & water as well as a minimum amount of first aid equipment. It’s just that you didn’t see it,but it was there. Probably known to the school’s administration and custodians. Would it be better if it had a huge neon sign with a flashing arrow to denote this building is a fallout shelter? 🤷‍♂️

It sounds like Bob McFadden. If you were a kid of the 60's , he was the voice of Cool McCool. In the 80's he lent his voice to Snarf in the original Thundercats series.
