Thats why I play small continents because it gives a reason to have a navy

No matter civ 6 or civ 5, I dont know if it is the music or the way the exciting battles are developed but for me your videos are gold so keep up the good job men

Norway lost the moment they lost Amsterdam. Also, it's nice seeing some of Civ 6 (especially because I am familiar with the mechanics.) Keep up the good work!

I was really cheering Norway on but they did nothing with there navy. :(

They’re really more of a boon than anything. Farming the tiles yields a lot of food, but you have to repair them whenever the volcano erupts. Volcanos also give a +2 science yield for campuses.

The whole expansion basically did nothing. Dunno why it was so hyped.

Cool, looks like you can even see the grievance system coming into effect at the start, the first one to start war paints a target on their own back.

I don't understand why people think he has to do either 5 or 6 and not both. It would be great if he did both, but I guess people are just that selfish.

Doing civ 5 sould be easier, as it has a dedicated map editor, unlike civ 6. Saves alot of time.

I was about to ask if that's what I thought it was.

One could say this tournament is almost unreal.

Kinda cool, besides obvious hate on civ 6 instead of 5, it's nice too see some new things and improvements they finaly added (although in another freaking dlc instead of normal game but asking for some decency in gaming industry is foolish). One question though: who won? (don't quite follow civ 6 and their boring recolor)

I loved the “last stands” by some of the cities. Some of them put a fight! Orange was just there forever, hardly being touched, and then BAM taken over.

I don't understand the AI. Norway had a ton of ships but were just sitting doing nothing while Greeces land army flooded their cities. Norway could easily have destroyed their coasts

They behave wierdly because of walls. Thats why i usually turn them off in my games.

Norway won the naval war, but lost on the ground

I’ve noticed that the First Nation to expand is put at a disadvantage due to waisting so many troops in an even battle.

Alexander and Harald, prior to the final showdown: Alex: "My army is bigger than yours!" Harald: "You blind? I have over twice the ships as you! My ocean is full of them!" Alex: "Ships don't count, sailing is for pussies." Harald: _Goes berserk_ "You Wot?!" _War is declared._ Harald to his Navy: "Alex's army is killing me, do something productive!" Navy: _Does nothing productive._ Harald: _Dies._

I love how Norway had this gigantic navy but never attacked, and then all of a sudden, Stockholm was just swiped

Should do it again, but every civ is Canada.

This has been the Kilian Experience.

civ 6 is very different than civ 5 the district system stops megacities and you have to control and hold more territory to grow which promotes a more defensive playstyle as you have to defend your very vulnerable districts and cant rely on walls alone.

Looks to see what Civ's are in... Hmm a new Civ, ah there's Norway, and... is that Alexander. Whelp I know who's winning this one.

There are quite a few mods for AI Only/Spectator in the workshop, I haven't used any with GS expansion yet however. The one I use (Its not the best) is called Autoplay @Sir Drevden

For future civ6 games, could you write down the capitals of the civs next to the leader names in the description? (e.g., Ottomans - Suleiman - Istanbul) It's a little difficult to recognize the civs and their leaders as easily as in civ5.

Looks equal but it's not actually. Ottoman and Holland starts with 1 extra volcano and this is game changer. Volcano on the middle too soon to them than others.

As someone who’s played civ 4 for probably 1k hours in his life, this stuff looks kinda similar but still sort of foreign. I’m used to roads square tiles and doomstacks of units😂

They do have access to all three volcanos which could maybe have helped them but i guess it wasnt enough

War weariness? What's that? It's especially fun going against india. To be fair, I've recently tried the Ottomans, and while the AI may not play him all that well, they're quite strong as well. The unique advisor gives some really strong military boosts, especially if you keep him close to the cities you're attacking, they get a bonus to siege unit construction and strength, and they have a strong melee unique unit, and a unique naval unit that can pillage faster than any other naval raider and still have enough moves to retreat to safety. It's a bit overkill, Alexander just has those early UUs (which are quite strong) and the bonus to science from his encampment building makes keeping up easier. Plus of course, his lack of war weariness. Honestly though, I feel that the Ottomans are stronger, AI Alexander is just more aggressive than anyone else except maybe Chandragupta.

Macedon used Blitzkrieg. It was super effective!

And here I thought Norway had a chance ^^

finally you made civ6 ai only battles. I’m looking forward to this. Watching ai fighting each other is so relaxing.
