This Japan in the 80s/90s. I love that, some of the songs, use the same US, 1980s/1990s beats, and makes them sound just as extraordinary. I’m a 90s baby and this is speaking to my soul and I’m not even from Japan. I love that I can feel the emotions and even not knowing the language, I still feel like I understand the message. Longest I’ve typed over, anything music related, at that 💛🙏🏾💜🎶

I haven't watched it in a very long time, but doesn't this scene come from Season 1 of the original 1992-1997 Sailor Moon TV anime series? In any case, unlike late 1970s and 1980s Japanese city pop, Sailor Moon fits this playlist perfectly, timeline-wise.
