Great job! Very interesting to watch! That guy burning rubber at 3:10 is the reason I have all those "Slow Down" things at the end of my vids....

Yeh I can see just how much of a pain they are, wouldn't be this bad in my area. The truck packed out too, that's nuts!!!

The city has a few Leach 2RIII's, but they're all used for commercial garbage, so there weren't any available

Very good video. But that packer is actually holding up the progress he would be making. That looks like a leach if it is i don't like leach packers? What do they do with the leaves compost them??

They use leaf vacuums as much as possible which is a lot faster, but it rained all weekend before I filmed this, so the leaves were too wet to be vacuumed, so it was time to get our the Tink claws and Leach 2RII's instead. They come around starting the first of November, and then as soon as they finish that round, they come around again, which is usually in late December or early January. So twice a year

Yeah, my new neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in town and is known for it's ridiculously large trees. Beautiful in the spring, a pain in the ass in the fall. You have no idea how long it takes to rake that many leaves lol! They started my street with an empty truck, and packed it out before they even got to the end of the street cause there's so many huge trees! Definitely a huge difference from the more desert-like area I lived in before, and they're only 45 miles apart!

Actually, you are exactly right. This truck is from the 80's. Most of the trucks here are much newer and look much different than this. This is just a very old spare truck they keep around. 25 tons of fruit! Wow! That must have smelled pretty bad!

Yup it's a Leach. All of the city's Leach's are AT LEAST this slow. The city mulches the leaves and uses them to fertilize grass seed in the spring in new parks and along highways, etc.
