City Girl Visits The Farm!
The video starts off with a parts run for the combine. We noticed a casting on the back axle had a crack in it so we wanted to make sure we had a new one one hand in the event that would break. The parts store often is not open on Sunday so it is nice to have ahead of time.
I got back to the main farm, hopped in the 1981 John Deere 4840 and tried starting it. I was having issues with the starters so after a phone conversation with Daddy Cornstar, we got it figured out (there was a loose bolt on the starter). On the way to the farm we were picking corn at, I picked up my girlfriend, who is a city girl. She is excited to be on the channel and she loves learning more about the farm and how equipment works.
Halfway through the first day, Daddy Cornstar had to pull the semi into the shop to put in some new bolts on a gear box that was falling off. It took us 5 minutes to fix the issue and then we went back to the field. I taught Hneiva how to drive the grain cart and then she did her first unload on the go as well as her first unload on the semi. I felt she was able to run the machine just fine, so I ran off to get diesel fuel for the combine. Once I got back, Summer was acting - interesting. Before the night ended, I taught Hneiva how to back up a trailer.
The next day we had a few things in the big machine shed to shuffle around and then started combining corn. Good news! We had pizza for lunch... again. We combined late into the night until the combine stopped. We think the hydraulic pump exploded on the combine. Before the night ended, we pulled the grain cart tractors into the shop to be serviced the next day.
Thank you for watching!

Me too... A bit concerned when she was modeling a stalk about to be harvested (I knew the combine was going to stop, but still... It's an automatic 'Momma warning system' thing) but after that I was laughing at the silliness. It was fun! 😄🌽

Y'all have such a GREAT FAMILY Cole. I so much enjoy watching the Corn Star Farm. Nava is a keeper son. She seems to fit right in with your wonderful family. Happy Thanksgiving and thank you all so much for all you do for America!!
I know nothing about farming corn (at least I didn't until a couple of days ago) but I've been binge watching your videos. What a great family spirit you all have! And that girlfriend of yours is just so lovely - you better make that a permanent arrangement.
My family is about 3 generations away from farming. Enjoying the videos as i just stumbled on to them a couple of days ago. Having fun while working is something that should not be taken for granted. The hard work shows up to my inexperienced eyes. good job!
You two are darling. Thank you so much for participating miss. I wish you both the best.
She’s cute! Nice that she’s willing to learn and excited to do the work.
Just found your channel; you seem very positive and down to earth, keep doing what you love. Thanks for the content

Girls taking over😇 Nava and your sister who has a great sense of humor. The perfect stalk of 🌽. Great video👌🗽🇺🇸
By far, THE best video, so far! Summer in that corn costume had me laughing out loud. The best one was where she was flattened! LMBO! Also, Nava is adorable AND a hard worker! "Looks like a kitten all curled up"...awe...❤ I think she's a keeper, Cole!😉
I love your sister coming to help with this harvest!
What a team. Nice job guys thank you for sharing.
Went back and watched some of your older content. I've learned so much from watching your videos. Farming on your scale is definitely big business. I get such a kick out of Daddy Cornstar, he's got a good sense of humor, and it seems like Summer has the same humor.
Go go go , girl . Good on you Cole for teaching her , you a top guy, Cole. 😀😀🤠🇦🇺
Just started watching , I am hooked I guess it brings back childhood memories as I was reared on farm😀
Good help is hard to find ! Nice seeing people so eager to learn something new!! Nice looking operation! Some of my funniest days was helping out my buddies on their Oregon farm ! Enjoy your videos !!

A John deer girl she's a keeper and good looking too. your sis has a sense of humor running around dressed like a corn cob. happy family you got👍👏
Looks exhaustive. It is amazing that there isn't burn-out among farmers. How they stick to it for 30, 40 and 50 years is mind-boggling.
Love watching all of this video. Thanks.

Hneiva has that gorgeous, yet cute and down to earth thing going. A real keeper. Summer's skit was cute also. Entertaining and informative. Excellent video. Maybe your best yet.
Cornstars, keep doing YOU! Love from Texas!
I always knew farming was a tough business but had no idea how much there was to do. Thanks for enlightening me and for giving me hope that your generation just may know what they are doing (at least in the Midwest).
Oh, Summer, That was great. I laughed so much. You were feeling a little corny.
I really enjoyed this video. You added something funny with the girl as a corn. Loved it something different.👍 your girlfriend seems nice and funny too. Good job all around.
I really like that you're able to narrate all of this unscripted, and make a good, interesting story of it. Really nice job!

Summer's cameo was gold corn star quality there, Cole... 👑🏅🌽
Your house is looking great. Can't wait for it to be completed.
Still catching up on old videos. Parts I enjoyed were watching the flow of the work and the communication among you all. And, of course, seeing Nave embrace the new challenges.
Hang on to her Cole. Do what you have to do but hang on. She's got promise.
For Hneiva and all the tractor drivers:my uncle gave me a little trick: while backing a trailer or a grain cart behind the tractor:just think that it is your hand that is in place of the tractors tow bar!
