Such a great song. If you want to hear the other side of City and Colour (real name Dallas Green) then you should check out 'This Could Be Anywhere in the World' by Alexisonfire. He does the clean vocals in that band and it's a much different vibe to his solo stuff.

Ahhh finally City and Colour! Dallas Green genuinely is an insanely talented vocalist, he also does vocals for a band called Alexisonfire and This Could Be Anywhere in the World is phenomenal too! However back to City, their new album, The Love Still Held Me Near is exceptional too!

Been a fan of Dallas Green/City and Colour music for over 15 years, more or less. Learned to play guitar with his music and also started singing his songs. Great channel! Keeping it going.

This first album was a pivotal soundtrack for me at an influential time in my life... I had loved Alexis for years before this, and as another Canadian was fortunate enough to see them live during that period, but Dallas' solo work is just so damn good and especially resonates for me. Would love to see you react to more City and Colour!

Watching other people enjoy Dallas' music makes me emotional for some reason. His music holds a special place in my heart for reasons I can't properly articulate.

the song is about dallas being on the road away from his wife ( new at the time ) and how hard it was to be on the road and away from her for long stretch's counting the day when he could go home to her. but this is the song i listened to when the economy crashed and i had to get work that was away from my family when i would be gone for months at a time when my kid were still toddlers and you count down till you get to go home even if it was only for a weekend.

Dallas Green is my all-time fav. He had this solo project (City and Colour) he was in a band ( Alexisonfire), but he also recorded a duet album with P!nk (You+Me)

That bridge and the final chorus.. Chills, litterally chills.

Would highly recommend listening to This Could Be Anywhere In The World by Alexisonfire. It’s the same singer but just in a very different music style. Plus it’s just a banger of a song.

Before you dive into Alexisonfire, please listen to Dallas's Alice In Chains covers. He does two of them live and they are both chilling. This song is from his early days and he has only gotten better with age!

Yes yes yes!!! My favourite Dallas Green song of all time. It’s so hard to find reactions to his music because he’s criminally unknown outside of Canada but he has one of the most beautiful voices EVER.

Im a huge Dallas fan and this to me, is their best album from start to finish. For me, the whole album, I just think about life in general, it's a very in-your-feelings album.

To me this song is about the struggles of a musician on tour being away from their loved ones that’s my take on it. Also yeah this is his solo project he named it city and colour because he didn’t feel right releasing an album with Dallas Green

Dallas Green has one of those voices (not just physical) that we'll look back on and wish we had treasured more in the moment. He has plenty of music just like this or better, and Alexisonfire..... well, you'll have to see for yourself.

There is nothing that Dallas sings that can’t make u feel something, anything. Need to check out some alexisonfire to see where he came from, sidewalk when she walks would be a more Dallas heavy song from the early days, although water wings is a personal favorite

I recomend you to react with 36 CRAZY FISTS. Nice metal band from Alaska, and the explosive theme “New Noise” of REFUSED, brutal hardcore punk band from Sweden. Regards from spain

Everything by Dallas is great but this one if is not the pitch at the end of the song, in my opinion is not the best song from CC. Maybe u should try comin home , wasted time , fragile bird, day old hâte and hope for now! These are some of is best songs! 😊
