The amount of short shifting he used is insane. He has a really big TC in his head. No wonder he can be that consistent and calm during race.

Sims are so close to reality now a days. For a moment there I thought it was going to be a DNF. Come on RB no more DNF please you got this RB!!!

@@janniksamsing8350 They might, but Ferrari will also make upgrades. Although the Maranello team will only be doing so after Imola (time constraints being the major reason), they could still pull off a miracle upgrade next time around. The same goes for all 10 teams on the grid. The tracto- *ahem* I mean, Aston Martin could become one of the top teams if they can find and fix the AMR22's weaknesses. I'd love to see Seb and Lance competing for wins. Anyways, back to the topic: at the moment, it is hard to tell if the upgrades would actually benefit the teams, and which teams would benefit off of them; Mercedes could fix their porpoising, and McLaren could fix their brake issues. It would indeed be nice to see Max and Charles battling it out for wins just like Bahrain. Australia was quite boring due to Leclerc dominating the entire race. That brings me to the second point: Checo. Although he does have quite good Quali pace, he seems to be slacking in the races, just like Sainz. I believe neither of them will be able to compete for wins unless both Max and Charles DNF. Again, though, this is just an opinion and may not reflect what will actually happen throughout the course of this season. I just hope this season is eventful.

His line and braking is almost identical to the W12 around IMOLA in iRacing, so I’d say it’s pretty accurate. These cars are unreal on the brakes and through the corners.

In real life he's quicker. Imola 2021 Verstappen made a lap in 1:14.498 seconds.

One thing we know is that Verstappen is pretty good in the wet, we have not really seen anything from leclerc in the wet like maybe 2016 Brazilian GP from max but let’s see what he can do

I think his braking and acceleration are pretty spot on as you would expect. His lines are just more realistic than you would take in esports. Completely mounting every curb and even braking on them, would definitively loose you time in real live.

I want to see some of the current F1 drivers race on 80s F1 cars. It would be nice to see how they adjust to such different cars.

Wish they didn’t have traction control on so I could see his throttle application. Loved watching his trail braking though. That’s 20 years of pedal work you’re watching.

Haha always funny to see how his face does not move an inch during a race, if its in real life, or on a simulator. Max always has this dead eye focus when he is racing, lovely to see. A true Dutchy ! :)
